This is what fixed the power locks not working in our 01 XJ
cheap and easy fix for the power lock switch not working on any door including remote control. took about 30 minutes to install. Do a little house keeping while the door panel is off and make sure everything is where it should be and properly connected inside the door.

Fixed Power Door Locks
My power door locks were starting to malfunction on my 2001 Cherokee. As a retired Jeep mechanic I was not going to pay for an OEM part. This took me 20 minutes and my locks have been working perfectly since.Highly recommend this part.

Fit and functioned as expected
Fit just like the original and restored operation to the door locks, no obvious issues resulting from being an aftermarket part and worked just as well as the factory part. Will update if there are any issues, but so far after a few weeks it works like it should with no issues.

Good replacement on 2000 Cherokee. I did not have issues with the power door locks after install still works with the fob but now I can roll down my window.

This module is more important than you may think.
By using this aftermarket module you will not be able to open or close you doors remotely. Had to spend a huge ammount of money to figure it out. Here is the explanation: The Passenger Door Module (PDM) contains the passenger side front door power lock switch and the power lock system control circuitry. In its role as a power lock switch, it provides the power lock system control circuitry with a ground path through the PDM ground circuit and the driver side power lock CONNECTOR 2 (C2) SWITCH POSITION CONTINUITY BETWEEN LOCK 7 & 8 UNLOCK 11 & 8 Fig. 1.
