Can i use this for wallpaper glue?

I wouldn’t recommend it. Wallpaper paste is too thick for the small holes in the roller.

Can you use oil based paints with this? I'm specifically using a mixture of 50% linseed oil and 50% pine tar

Oil based paints are fine in the Smart SideKick. We don't have any idea how pine tar will affect it, but it sounds like trouble. Clean immediately after use with mineral spirits. Good luck with your projects. Call for more help at 1-800-328-8251.

Is the Roller cover assembly for sale ? I lost mine

Yes, Amazon lists several roller covers for the unit. Just be sure it's for "power" roller and specify desired nap length.

Will this work well on an acoustic blown on ceiling?

The blown ceiling material can start walling off when it gets wet with spraying. Using a roller is going to make a mess, had a friend try that. It ended up as having to remove all the blown ceiling. Blown ceiling has a terrible bonding capability if wet at all. I have had some ceilings done in a commercial building and the painter used a fogging type sprayer with 2-3 coats, drying in between coats. Blown ceilings are only good for the builder!
