This is an updated review. I tried the Thorne Product, after my dog had stabilized on This product. So Much depends on Why you are giving your dog Cardio supplements! My dog still doesn't like the taste of these chewables, so I have to encase the tabs in shredded cheddar. That said, my dog has a serious arrhythmmia problem. The cost of a pacemaker makes that impossible for me. This product contains an herb that is a nutural cardic rhythm regulator. The Thorne product Does Not! I needed a product for her that helped strengthen her heart muscles, as well as helped normalise her heart rhythm. This Does that! It has given me my dog back! I'm So grateful! I believe the Thorne supplement to be excellent for Congestive Heart failure ... far too many peoplehave praised it for That! But, when I give Thisbone to my dog, evety 12 hrs, she's stopped have Syncope episodes completely! I hadn't expected it to work so quickly! I study herbs, and this one contains the best ones for my dog's situation. She's regained her appetite, and has also regained some needed weight. If you are looking for a product because your dog has a heart condition, I suggest you look up each component contained as an ingredient. That will best help you decide what your dog most needs. If you are just giving a supplement to Keep your dog's heart healthy, this might not be the one for your dog. Of course, All such products Must Say that thesehave Not Been Evaluated bt the FDA. That's the law! But, there are studies, and books on herbs, as well as studies, outside the US, that one can find, in order to become more informed on what might help your dog. This is an amazing product and it has definitely helped my older dog. My elderly dog was exhibiting signs of fatigue and excessive panting with not a lot of exertion. Because she is older and has hip problems, it is hard to get her in a car - she can't hop up into my small car - so getting her to a vet is almost out of the question and I don't know any vets who make house calls.I saw this product when doing an Amazon search and thought it would be worth trying to see if it would help my dog. I have been giving my dog the recommended dosage (s he weighs around 80 pounds) for the past several months and this product has truly made a big difference in my dog's physical well being.She has more energy and her huffing and puffing with exertion is practically non-existent. She is now able to go up and down the stairs with little or no effort and if there is a rabbit or squirrel in the yard when I let her out to do his doggie business, she runs across the yard trying to catch the little animals.Thankfully, they are much faster at escaping than she is at getting to them. My dog is now on her fourth bottle of the cardio support. I will continue to buy this product and to give the tablets to her daily, as it has made a big difference and a great improvement in her quality of life. The product is definitely worth the price I pay for it. Highly recommended.

so far so good... found out my 13 old Italian Gray hound has a heart murmurer.. the medication the doctor recommend was way to pricey to have to pay every month for her.. so after reading reviews on this brand and others i decided to try them.. my dog loves them she thinks she is getting a treat everyday... she still has a couch but doesn't seem as bad once i give her the pill.. her energy levels are still high and she is still running around like a puppy.. i know the problem won't go away but i'm hoping that it won't get worse but only time will tell... she goes back for a check up in 6months so i will post an update to see if these pills are actually working for her

After a trip to the emergency vet with my 4 y/o German Shepherd for a very upset tummy, the x/ray showed an ok belly/intestinal track (there was gas - she ate something bad), but her heart was slightly enlarged. Enlarged hearts are not ever something to be taken lightly because there is no cure. I quickly got to work doing some research because in her family genetics there is absolutely no history of heart issues. I came across the study on certain brands of dog food that appear to be contributing to the rise in heart problems...the brand/formula I feed her was on the naughty list. In addition to changing her food and taking her to my regular vet for his opinion (just keep an eye on it - all signs point to her being fine), I put her on the cardio supplement as a preventative measure based on the reviews of other users. I add the pill to her food and she gobbles it right down. I also added a high dose of omega 3.I honestly don’t know if it’s working, but again, heart issues can’t be taken lightly. The cost is reasonable, the ingredients are great and she runs around like she doesn’t have a care in the world. My goal is to keep my best puppy around for a long time.
