I’ve been using the Le Salon Essentials Rubber Curry Grooming Brush for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it works. I have a short-haired dog that sheds a lot, and this brush has become part of our daily routine. Life changing. I have tried so many brushes for my Aussie mix and nothing seemed to grab hold of the hair even though he sheds like a maniac. This works SO well!! And as a bonus, my dog really likes it because it’s more like a massage and it has no possibly way of snagging skin or a tangle. The hairs comes right off. My only single complaint is that the little band where to put your hand is so small and tight! I have small hands for a woman and I can only fit three fingers in it comfortably. But it doesn’t deter, the brush is fine to hold without your fingers under the band.

The product description emphasizes its effectiveness in removing loose, shedding hair, but in practice, the amount collected wasn't quite what I expected based on those claims. However, it still does a decent job overall and is a useful addition to our grooming routine.

I have two terrier mix dogs, and they are HEAVY shedders with medium length hair! The only other product that has ever worked for shedding has been the silicone glove, which is excellent as well. But overtime the mesh on the glove stretches out, and it starts to slide around ur hand while brushing, not providing for a firm grip. This product provides a firm grip , while releasing all the loose hair. They enjoy being brushed due to the bristle not hurting their skin. I bought a second for a back up. I definitely recommend.

My dog is a 20 lb short-hair dachsund-beagle mix. I'd previously purchased the Bounce Grooming Kit from Petsmart to combat shedding in the house. This curry brush is much more effective. The Bounce Grooming Kit was advertised for short hair breeds and came with a bristle brush and a slicker brush (metal wire brush), which is odd because slicker brushes are generally used for longer hair breeds. I used the slicker brush a couple times and it really irritates my dog. She is okay with the bristle brush, but the two combined did not pull nearly as much hair as I get from this curry brush. Rubber curry brushes are much more effective at pulling out loose fur. You can see the fur piling up as you brush your dog. I try to brush the dog every day, and all the fur I brush off outside is fur that would have otherwise been left by my dog inside. From the looks of it, I've saved a lot of fur from being deposited inside my house. So, I'd highly recommend this brush. I'd also couple it with a bristle brush because this brush will loosen the shed fur, but you'll need a bristle brush to brush it off the dog.

Removes lots of hair, but the brush grabs and holds onto lots of hair. Kong brush is better at self cleaning.

I've been progressively learning how to groom my american staffordshire mix since I got her, while her care needs are minimal and her coat stays fabulous in between washes, it can be hard to figure out how to brush these guys as they do blow their coats about twice a year and shed minimally year round. This has been my go to brush to groom her in the bathtub, it gathers all the hair inside and takes off a lot - which helps with a dog whom is bath anxious and working through it! Afterwards I can let it dry and peel out the fur to toss for bird nests (recycling if you will) or i can rinsing it out in a clump and it goes into the trash. Despite having been an avid horse rider, I don't know why I didn't think of a curry comb for my dog sooner! The grip is nice but could be a bit bigger to fit for more hand sizes. I will probably try this on my smooth collie when I eventually am ready to bring one home!

Use it every time I give my Papa bath. It's very durable, long-lasting. It's easy to use. It's easy to clean

I like this rubber brush, it gets rid of a lot of hair from my staffy and mini foxie who both have a short hair with not much undercoat. It’s become part of our regular routine and they both love to be brushed.

Este cepillo es de hule muy duro. Sirve solo para pelo largo. El pelo corto y cerrado no se adhiere. Trabaja por estática, entonces el cabello largo se queda muy bien pegado, con varias pasadas se forma una capa gruesa de pelo, entonces se retira fácilmente del cepillo. Si es útil.

I love everything about the brush. I have a short hair Dane X Mastiff and for 7 years tried different brushes and felt I could never get ahead of the hair, mostly due to the short times of brushing I would get before I could tell it was uncomfortable for her. I tried this brush and have never been more blown away with a brush. The ease of using it to get hair off is effortless, it works quick, relatively easy to clean and my dog loves it. I can brush her a while and when I stop, she leans into me for more. Is easy to work around the neck, legs, tail etc. I have never had a high end one to compare to like this, but multiple other expensive brushes, and none even compare to this ones performance. I may get a top end one in the future to compare the difference. Happy for now
