Sony BRAVIA 55 Inch TV 4K UHD High Dynamic Range Smart Google TV - KD-55X75K - UAE Version

I recently purchased a Sony BRAVIA 55 Inch 4K UHD TV (KD-55X75K) in December 2024, and I am absolutely blown away by its performance. The picture quality is nothing short of stunning – vibrant colors, deep blacks, and impressive detail thanks to the 4K UHD and HDR support. Watching movies and streaming content has never been such an immersive experience! The Google TV interface is smooth and intuitive, making it super easy to navigate through apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+. The voice control feature works seamlessly, and I love how I can search for content or control the TV with my voice using Google Assistant. Setup was a breeze, and the TV’s slim design blends perfectly with my living room. The sound quality is also surprisingly good for a TV of this size. Sony has always beaten others in terms of picture quality, maybe Samsung might be the second or first one depending on model to model, well for this model, whose real model number is 55KDX75AK, please don't get confused with the model number, as on the box it is written X7 K in big letters and on TV X75AK, first few letters are for the size of the TV and on Amazon, you can find X75K and X75AK as the different model in terms of price, remember all are same go for the cheapest one, price in amazon is very dynamic which is quite weird as well, I don't know why amazon does that, we will list out pros and cons: Pros: Best picture quality, relatively fast booting, and fast overall, sound quality is good and adaptive a little I am not sure about it, picture quality and brightness are adaptive so you don't have to keep on changing the picture setting, it will give you the best automatically, airplay and Chromecast works fine, however, google home in IOS doesn't work seamlessly, you can switch to aap remote if you want there are many options. switching between aaps is also fast, remote google assistant and voice command works just fine not the best, log in with your mail ID before using the tv for a better experience, picture quality is far better from another tv in the same price range, IPS display gives good colors and black seems fine to me, the overall picture quality is a winner here, and it soothing to watch unlike TCL QLED which will give you stress. it has both airplay and Chromecast which is a winner again. Cons: sometimes it lags maybe because of internet connectivity, there is no wide mode, it is there but you cannot use that feature for streaming apps, so you will see black bars in amazon prime and Netflix for a few contents mostly movies, no inbuilt tv mic so you need to rely on remote, which is not a too good feature, you cannot talk to tv directly, I had TCL C635, it has an inbuilt mic with a switch, and its works just fine, there is no physical customer support for Sony in UAE, Jumbo Electronics give support, but they don't respond at all, warranty is 2 year as per warranty card by Jumbo Electronics.

Bought it to keep in my porch to enjoy TV in winter months. Its sound is great and so is picture quality and colors. Love it.

The TV stopped working before end of the 1st year. I called for warranty, they didn't replace it, instead they changed the faulty part ( I belive in the power supply) Today ( after 2 years) the TV is having problems in the WiFi connection. It can't discover the WIFI ( Till yesterday it was working ) !. Don't recommend this model !

Its amazing, i know its basic bravia, but what i see is not less than bravia 2 or 3 or 4 or even 5 , take my advice and buy it and save your money if you thinking of higher quality

Sony its not 2nd tier tvs even its not oled qled, picture is great black color is black

Has been riddled with problems since the day it arrived. First the sound, then the white lines. Just a pain to keep dealing with Sony service center and lose my TV for weeks at a time. Not what I expected, and i'm wondering if this is an exception or not.

The picture and sound is excellent. It feels like your right in the action. The remote is intuative and easy to use without looking and having to move your finger all over. The buttons are all close together. The operating system is easy to navigate and you have access to a lot of Apps and Streaming Services. The only negatives are the onboard web browser is very basic and you have to go thru another app to find the Google web browser. I just downloaded another web browser and it works much better. Im not an expert by any means on web browsers but i went thru the app menu and downloaded the Puffin browser and the Odin browser. They work much better than the original app to Google. My usb wireless keyboard works fine with the operating system but my usb wireless mouse does not. The mouse is visible and moves around but you cant click on anything. I have to move the app mouse around with the remote and its kind of awkward. I dont know if I need a true bluetooth keyboard and mouse to have full use of the system, but at this point only the keyboard works. But other than that it operates just like my laptop and im able to use it instead of my laptop most of the time.

La PS5 se configura automáticamente en cuanto se conecta, y con la series X tienes que hacerlo todo por tu cuenta (calibrar colores y todo eso). De ahí en más, todos los juegos se ven super bien y muy fluidos y los pocos juegos que llegan a 120 se ven muy estables no hay perdida de cuadros o rendimiento (o al menos no lo noté)

It’s worth the extra money to buy a ‘brand name’ TV in my opinion. Super color quality compared to cheaper brands friends have. So glad I chose a Sony !
