Eagle KEG860 Sanke Valve/Spear Removal Tool, Gray

Well built and very strong. The only complaint I have is that you have to put a quarter on top of the ball valve in order to push it down far enough to get the spring clip out. What the heck. Why not just make it an eighth inch longer? Otherwise, it works very well for removing sanke keg spears.

You will think you don't need, can save 100$ by using a screwdriver and a plyers, but it never works. This actually works.

The tool works well to compress down the o-ring on the spear and give room to pop the lock ring out with a screw driver. It's a simple concept and all, plus the tool is heavy and would definitely crack a tile on the floor if dropped. For what it is, I don't feel the price reflects the worth of this item. Unfortunately, there's no other options for this type of tool and leaves you stuck with either forking 100 bucks out for it, or making your own.

Saves me about 10 minutes fiddling with kegs to get the stupid ring out. With the cost? Eh it’s pricey for what it is. Someone could make a knock off that works as well for 1/4 the price bit is what it is. 10 very frustrating minutes saved was worth it I guess.
