IM361 Battery Box (9-Volt)

This product saved me time and frustration - worked great on my car LED engine lights

Battery doesn't actually fit. The compartment is to big. I had to wedge some cardboard in there to keep it in contact while I waited for a better one.

Really, it's so reasonably priced that it's hard to complain, but it is important to note the battery is difficult to plug in/remove, mostly because it feels like you're going to break it in order to push/pull on it hard enough to do it. But for what it is, a case for a 9-volt battery with an on/off switch, it works perfectly.

I used this along with a li ion rechargeable battery to power 2 LED strips on my skateboard. I wanted something small and cheap, and this was the best option for me. It is small and light enough to be held firmly in place by a strip of Velcro tape.

Would have worked for me if the switch was on the other side.

There's not a plethora of options to pick from out there, and at this price this is a decent purchase.Its toy-like build quality disqualifies it from rugged, hard-use applications, but assuming that the switch holds up, it serves well enough for many projects where a compact and portable 9-volt power source is needed.I combined mine with Velcro, a Lithium-Ion Battery (10-Year Shelf-Life), and an Alpena Red LED Strip Light to create a lighted accessory tray on my telescope's tripod. A neat rainy night project that works very well!A layer or two of 3M Red Plastic Tape will dim the LED lights down to your preferred level to preserve your night eyes.Pretty slick and it works great!All of the aforementioned components are available right here on Amazon...RayB

Needed it for a rc light bar and it works great holding the battery in place. It's small but just right to fit the 9 volt battery.
