I'm a bit of a tool snob - I only want to have sturdy, high quality tools available for use. Mom let me inherit Dad's tools when he passed on condition that I find her pink tools for her use if needed. (Its mostly just a comfort thing. She's not handy.) I found a great set of pink tools that met my quality standards, but it lacked diagonal cutters. Thanks to other reviewers I chose these. I'm very happy with their construction, strength and sharpness. Probably most appropriate for women as the spread is a bit small and the handles are shorter. Definitely a good purchase for the price.

For cutters, you want something that's cheap and expendable. This is it.

Decent little cutters for small jobs like phone or household electrical wiring. Definitely not intended to go through bundled wires any larger than a typical 120V power cord (make sure the power is disconnected first of course) or Cat-5 network cable. Also not intended for harder materials like sheet metal or hardwood. Great for cutting zip-ties and twist-ties though.

Small just what I needed fits in tight spots

Perhaps I didn't read the description well enough but these are jewelry wire cutters not real ones... But I can't give a bad review due to my own fault. They would work great for jewelry.

These are not heavy duty wire cutters. Use a different tool for less than 12 gage. Ideal for small light gage wire.
