Super cute and warm in the middle with the double layers and finger coverings working like thin gloves. Mask was a bit too heavy and slipped, suggest a headband or something to pin in hair.

Like others mentioned the head is too large for a child and constantly fell down. Besides that it is a cute costume!

I got this for my 2-year-old for Halloween. It comes as three pieces - a little shirt with the tentacle sleeves, a purple vest, and the purple hood with the googly eyes. There are no pants or leggings included so you will have to find something to coordinate.The shirt has little holes near the end of the sleeves so hands can be out or covered - this is a good thing because my daughter got frustrated not being able to grab candy for herself. The shirt is the lowest quality item of the set - a few times on and off and the fabric ripped right next to the Velcro at the neck. That wasn't a big deal since it gets covered by the vest anyway.The vest slides on over the arms and velcros up in the back. It's pretty thick and sturdy feeling, a little padded. The hood is made similarly, but the designer did not think about the logistics of keeping the hood secured to a child's head; inside the top is a little pad to protect their head from where the eyes attach, presumably. Attached to this is a little cap of stretchy fabric meant to go over the child's head and velcro under the chin. The problem is that it is not large enough or sturdy enough to stay - it was always slipping off backwards or coming unhooked. All that said, the quality of the eyes, hair, teeth, etc are fantastic and look just like you would expect from the movie.My solution was to sew the hood onto the vest so it behaved more like a hoodie, though it still fastened in the back which made it a bit awkward. I tried to get some pictures of this but it is a bit difficult to show. By doing this I could let the top of the hood fall back like it is often worn in the movie, which my daughter preferred, and then put it up on her head for pictures. It actually worked best in the stroller, cause it stayed propped up but didn't block her face so she didn't notice.Long story short, if you are crafty and like doing some DIY, this is a super costume with a bit of work. If you want something ready to go right out of the box, keep looking.

Super cute! but The top was too heavy to stay on. I had to sew the top and make minor adjustments but the costume was cuter with the top off anyhow. The costume is so so so adorable! My one year old took some time to adjust to the no hands thing but we practiced a few days before Halloween and she was completely happy and comfortable on the day of. The photo is from her first practice run. As you can see, she wasn't happy lol. I had my hands full on Halloween so no photos of the costume then. sry.

My little one loves her boo costume! She's very petite and in size 18-24 month the inner most piece is snug which is perfect and the outter body piece fits perfect over it the head runs a bit big and doesn't quite stay on but a few well placed stitches fixed that! Great costume for your little one id definitely purchase again!

This is so cute, but the hat is not well designed for a child. I wouldn’t recommend it, because you’ll end up with half a costume - and trying to wrestle a child into an uncomfortable hat. If they’re old enough to bribe into wearing it, maybe! If not you’ll be sweating in a silly onsie, while your kid runs around looking like a half lizard thing - and you might get one picture with the hat halfway on. My daughter is 15 mos so this was not a good costume for her.

I really loved the look of rhe costume. However the head piece was not very easy to keep up on my daughter's head. It kept falling down
