I really like this cushion. The chair I use it on was worn and flat on the seat but with the addition of this cushion it is like a brand new chair. I sit at my office for anywhere from ten to fourteen hours so I have very long days. I also have a terrible back but since I have been using this (December of 2015) I have seen a huge improvement in my back pain. The memory foam is just the right firmness and doesn't stay flat when I get up.The elastic band hold the cushion down for the most part well. It does move if I am getting up and out of my chair a lot during the day but it stays when I am sitting on it and that is when it matters. I highly recommend this cushion.

Definitely better than the thin big box store seat cushion that I have. It is slightly smaller than the cheap big box store chair seat which leaves a slight awkward gap either in the front or back depending which direction you push it to. Because this is an optional seat or back cushion there isn't any no slip material on the back so it slides around on the seat.... Sooooo, you might wonder why I give it four stars. The thicker foam springs back, even after being stored folded in half when I'm not sitting on it. I find it to be more comfortable turned flat side out as a seat cushion because it gives a little extra support under my knees, which I have a lot of swelling issues with, and unlike other memory foam cushions I've had this one doesn't get uncomfortably warm.

great for my dad. he is 91 and needs extra padding.we have 3 of these. one stays in the car,one in his chair at the table, and one in his recliner. it helps relieve the sore areas from him sitting too long. we take it with us to all drs. appointments since the chairs are so hard. everyone asks where we got them and i tell them i found them on Amazon. he has a dr. that recommends it to her elderly patients. cover removes for washing. great product!

I somewhat agree with D.S.'s review of this product. All this is is a nice cushion. I'm 115 lbs, and it's comfy. I don't imagine it'd be as comfy for those who are heavier. I'll have to return it because I bought it thinking that it'll help ease my Sciatica which is acting up.

I received the above mentioned cushion yesterday and I wish I had ordered it sooner. I've always used the "Tush Cush" cushions in the past so I decided I'd try something with memory foam and I am so glad I chose this ObusForme. I had two back surgeries, four months apart, in 1993, but continued to suffer. I have also developed Scoliosis and Monday I have a big surgery to correct that, so I really wanted cushions that would absorb bumps. This perfectly fits the bill. I'm getting ready to order another one because you can also use the cushion as a lumbar cushion. I'm amazed the same shape cushion would accommodate both locations on the body, but it does. So now both my back and my bottom will be really comfortable. If anyone is having similar problems; you can't go wrong with this choice. This also fits nicely in my power chair. One more point worth mentioning; this memory foam, though a more dense foam, is much more comfortable than what I have on my bed so I believe it will wear much better than my bed has. Only time will tell.

Too soft to function as intended. Foam is mostly air and becomes flat with very little weight applied. This *might* be okay as a back support but is useless as a seat cushion.

Bought one for a friend and an active elderly person. Both have back and/or neck issues. They both rave about this and how it helps relieve pain. Mu she mor comfortable compared to a wooden chair with limited support. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my mother, who has sever hip pain. She said she likes it and keeps it in her car, for when she stops at restaurants and such. It is very high to begin with (so she can not use it while driving as she is tall). It flattens out a bit after sitting on it for a while, but still leaves a cushiony feel.

The foam used in this cushion is high quality. Compared to the ones Canadian Tire sells, this cushion doesn't compress into a pancake. It compresses but still supports. I guess that is why it is $50 vs the $20 ones at CT. Good size for travel. So many wedge cushions now are oversized and will not fit on small seating surfaces, like an uncomfortable banquet chair. The only suggestion I have is to include a carry handle.

I've used this back rest for years at work and it is the only one I found to be comfortable especially since I suffer from back issues. It helps you to sit up straight which takes some pressure off your back. It is by far the best one I've sat in and I have tried a few back cushions. I bought this one for my home office chair. I gave it 4 stars instead of five because I find the foam smell a bit strong. It does disappear over time but hoping it is made of good material.

I fractured a couple vertebrae and was recommended this brand. I can say that it made a huge difference in comfort and support, as I work at a desk and sit a lot of the day. For the first few months, I carried this with me everywhere (work, my car, my couch) as it offered so much support for my back, and there was very minimal pain, thanks to this. I am now about to sit on the couch and drive shorter distances without needing this, but I keep it at work and use it every single day. This has been a lifesaver for pain, posture and support. Highly recommend if you have backpain and sit a lot.

I operate 40 Tonne Rock Trucks, 60 & 100 Tonne rigid frame trucks & the Obus Form seat helps alleviate my hip soreness & lower back issues while operating these types of equipment. Although the seat is rigid when you use it, it softens & goes back to rigid after use. Big for carrying around but easy to take out as I share the trucks with other operators.
