Good deal
I needed the inside insert only. Worked like a charm.

It quit shortly after the return deadline. Proverbs 8 didn’t stand behind their product?
I usually just give feedback on what I buy on Amazon when I can get around to it and have never complained about anything. I have had Amazon step in and assist me in getting the correct product. Nothing major and I did receive great help from them. This time, I feel they failed.I can’t give anything on Amazon zero stars or I would for this product and ultimately this trans. If I could I might even give it a negative number. It seems they don’t make these anymore and I can see why. The first fan which a contractor put in the bathroom when finishing our basement, lasted about 4-ish years. Got this one even though I didn’t really want another one, because I didn’t want to tear out any drywall in the ceiling to fit a different fan. I had three people and my contractor help me put it in. (I didn’t/shouldn’t need a contractor, but I really wanted to make sure I had another set of eyes on it).Two BIG problems: I had a bunch of stuff going on and couldn’t get it on the schedule with him. I got around to installing just after the week in October. Im very sure I didn’t need to try it out to see that it actually worked being a durable good. Once we got it in it was pretty quiet and seemed to do the job. It only ran for about week and then quit (made a small popping sound and then died). This company wouldn’t accept returning it for a refund. It was a couple less than 2 weeks over the day for accepting returns. They first told me they don’t sell the fan anymore and they’d get with their supplier and see if they had another one and get back with me. (Again, I didn’t want to tear out drywall for a different sized fan and have costs go through the roof and that was the only reason I bought this fan one more time). This seller/company didn’t get back with me, so I reached out to them. After I did this, they then returned my message saying it was past the return deadline and they wouldn’t accept the return.I believe they should’ve informed their supplier quicker and got back to me quicker. Hampton Bay, their supplier and this company absolutely should stand behind the product. My best guess is that the fan was old and sitting on a shelf for quite awhile, so neither the supplier and Proverbs 8 could return it to them and have them make it right. The product wasn’t great and that’s why Hampton Bay discontinued the model. I’m sure Hampton Bay would accept it as faulty, but it is in my court to try to get them to acknowledge the problem and somehow make it right.Just now, for fun I guess, I looked up what Proverbs 8 means from the Bible and the most understandable meaning I could find is this:“Wisdom is portrayed as a woman of dazzling attractiveness and virtue, who teaches in the marketplace of the town (1:20), who is romantically embraced (4:8–9), who can be addressed as “my sister” (7:4), who utters a long speech commending herself to the public (chap. 8), and who builds a house and invites people to an alluring banquet (9:1–6)“.Kind of a weird kind of translation...”commending herself?”Sorry for the long “review”. Very disconcerting for me.

A B*tch to install but works as expected
Not the quietest, ours was difficult to install because of where the hole in the ceiling was cut and where the rafters were, but it works exactly as expected and wasn't complicated to wire. Would certainly purchase again, but not looking forward to installing.

I would recommend the Broan 688 if you want an inexpensive
Only bought this because it is the same as the one in our bathroom that I have already had to replace in the first year and a half of use. Individual motor/fan blade replacement is more money than a whole unit. The one in now is starting to make some weird noises and I figured I should get a spare to have on hand. I would recommend the Broan 688 if you want an inexpensive, serviceable, quality fan. I am kicking myself for buying the first one of these because that's what the big box store hand on hand.
