WOW, like watching a new TV
YOU NEED THIS UPGRADE for any HCD/Dolby Vision compatible TV currently using standard 4K HDMI cables. This optical HDMI 8K compatible cable is about the same diameter cable as older 1080P/4K cables, vs standard copper wire 8K cables also gave great motives picture quality vs 1080P/4K cables but are thick and bulky, as thick as heavy duty 110v extension cord for outdoor use.Instantly in love with these optical cables. Running from Roku Ultra to Yamaha RX-A3070 11 channel receiver (7.2.4 processing) and new 8K cable from Reciever to Sony Bravia HCD/Dolby Vision 90 series full stay backlit LED TV that is about 5 years old. Like a brand new TV after hooking the new 8K cables up, seriously that much change in the picture quality that I thought was great before, at least watching the latest 2023 recorded Dolby Atmos/Dolby Vision/IMAX enhanced movies or series. In fact the new 2023 DV/Atmos/IMAX enhanced shows would not play via my old 4K cables, but problem fixed with these new 8K cables.FULL DISCLOSURE: I was NOT sponsored by anyone, and I was NOT provided free products for review. I PAID FULL PRICE for these items, and this is my honest review. I am a brutally honest type reviewer, just finding no downside to these optical cables.

Long, Light, Compact, and Inexpensive
I got this 50 ft hdmi cable to project to a second screen when I am delivering workshops/training. I was skeptical that it would get the job done with how thin it and small is. It's around the size of a round shoelace... I'm happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised. For my application -- sending an image from a computer to a projector -- this works perfectly. it's also small and lightweight enough that at 50 ft long it's still plenty light and small enough to keep in my work backpack. I'm very careful about the way that I wrap it because the last thing I want to do is break the fiber optic "glass" inside but other than thoughtfulness around wrapping, there's nothing else to worry about with this cable. I haven't used it for high speed applications but the image I'm getting is great. I love that this cable is long, light, compact and inexpensive! Would buy this again.

Choppy video of quality
Signal is completely choppy. Normal 18 GBPS cable is way smoother.I brought multiple cables as well. Really was counting on this optic connection to be super high-quality. I would avoid!

nice for the price
Seems like a good product. I do not notice any loss of video resolution, despite the long length of the cable

25ft directly from PC to TV it just works and puts up with abuse
I've had this for over a year now, and it's still going strong, despite running along the floor and getting bent constantly and occasionally stepped on.I have it running from my PC with an RTX 3070 to a Sony A95K, and it *does* work with 4k@120 with either the VRR or Dolby Vision enabled (my TV support both). I've had some issues but they seem to be more related to the TV.Other reviews are rating it 1 star for not working under various conditions other than direct from Source to Display, however in testing other HDMI over Fiber cables (I work for a national A/V Integrator) I've found issues like that to be fairly common unless you're using a Balun style extender (with a transmitter and receiver over CAT6)

Cable did not last 1 year in ideal conditions
This cable died on me 1 year later. Did not subject it to any adverse conditions. It was plugged into an NVR PC that was always on but the display was on very infrequently (so the video output wasn't even being used), and the cable was not contorted/bent in any way, nor was it moved around a bunch. Just a low quality cable.
