Recently purchased the Wirsh 3qt ice tea maker. The second time I used it the pitcher broke. I emailed customer service about getting a replacement. They replied in less than 24 hours. I had a new pitcher in less than a week at no cost to me. I have made coffee and iced tea and both have come out great!

I really like this tea pitcher. I'd give it 5 stars except for the volume it holds. The listing says it holds 6 cups. It does, if you count a cup as 4oz and not the standard 8. It holds 24oz max. They put an overflow hole on the back, i ended up siliconeing that up with food safe silicone so i could get the capacity to 32 ounces, which it does no problem once i sealed that up. The pitcher is very nice. Its glass and thin, but not too thin. I've had it almost 6 months now and its still working great. I don't think its quite 3 quarts - more like 2 1/2 quarts (i use a plastic 16oz takeout cup, and the pitcher will hold 5 of them). It brews fast, by that i mean it heats up and starts brewing quickly. I like the on/off button that you can actually turn it off instead of having to unplug it like older cheap tea makers i've had in the past. I like the variable strength option. I keep it at the strongest setting, but i only use two family sized tea bag per gallon of tea. It has a very fine screen filter cup, which is nice as well. The only real issue i've had was the capacity as described above.

When this tea maker arrived I was concerned about the fragility of the glass pitcher, but I really wanted glass over plastic. Right at 2 months after I got it the pitcher broke. I had put water in it and was moving to put the water into the tea maker when the glass where the handle is attached just gave way. It didn’t hit anything, it wasn’t filled all the way with water, nothing like that. It just self-destructed. I would definitely not recommend it.

Love this product. Very durable and really appreciate that the carafe is glass rather than plastic. Easy to use. We use it daily. Easy to clean and the carafe fits nicely in the refrigerator.

I make 3-4 quarts or more of tea in this Iced tea maker every day. I do not put any ice into the pitcher. Just make the tea and let it cool, then pour it into another container and put the container in the refrigerator. I use 4-5 tablespoons of loose leaf herb tea, and fill the water up to the max line and run that thru, then I fill it up again with water and run it again. Then empty the screen out. I run it at full strength, this makes a great tasting tea.

I purchased this iced tea maker in June 2024, and it’s become part of my daily routine, sometimes twice a day! I also bought the extra glass pitcher, which makes it easy to always have cold tea ready in the fridge. I typically run the machine three times per brew cycle to fill the carafe, and it produces flavorful, beautifully clear tea every time. In the beginning I used ice, but found it unnecessary since I always keep a cold pitcher ready. While the included glass pitcher is a bit thin, it's held up surprisingly well to regular use with no cracks or issues, just handle with care. The spout occasionally drips from the side, but adjusting the angle of the pour fixes it. I did have a problem early on with cloudy tea, but switching to Red Rose tea bags and using filtered water solved that completely. (Louisianne and Lipton didn’t produce the same clarity for me.) After a year of heavy use, the filter basket started to clog despite regular cleanings with vinegar and baking soda. I contacted customer support, and they were responsive and helpful, providing a link to purchase a replacement basket ($9 plus $10 shipping). All in all, this iced tea maker has exceeded my expectations and become a kitchen staple. I would definitely recommend it!
