These smart locks are awesome. They are easily programmable in multiple ways making them extremely convenient, whether you want a door that locks every time you exit, remains unlocked until you lock it, or programming guest codes, they are very quick and easy to use. Overall, these locks are a great value for the money!

Being used on interior door in temperature controlled environment. Cannot comment on extremes of temperature. Instructions for install and all other functions were easy to follow. NOTE: I have intermediate skills in construction, computers and electronics. My purchased security knob was put on a door that had already had the holes cut for a door knob and was replacing an existing knob. Had to do a bit of chiseling to fit latch plate as it was bigger than my old plate, but, my old latch plate would have worked. Got the silver colored knob. Old one was brass. So didn’t really match the old latch plate. Was easy to chip out with a sharp chisel and steady hand. Did a dry fit first and trace around new latch plate where the jam needed to be cut. Easy Peazy. My favorite feature is how it keeps prying eyes from learning your code by allowing you to punch in up to 41 other numbers to disguise your code. It works as long as you punch your code in the proper order somewhere in that series. Which makes using a shorter passcode less risky. You get to program your own passcodes and they can be basically any length up to a ridiculously long one. Make sure you change the master immediately though. Can also have different codes for different people. There is an app for tracking but I generally do not use apps for things like this for personal security reasons. So cannot speak to app functionality. Knob has the ability to use a key and that has a separate mechanical mechanism. Comes with two standard style keys. Both worked and mechanism was well made. Have not yet tried the USB C function to unlock when batteries die. Opens fine from inside of room because interior knob is not tied to the electronic locking function. Feels very heavy duty. Will be used infrequently. But will update this review if needed in the future. Am considering getting another for exterior door. Am very pleased with this security knob. It is well thought out and the functions I have tried have all worked well.

Easy installation and use, great set of options to configure, also feels sturdy. For indoors the lock works really well, haven't proved on outdoors. 2 Keys included and works just fine. Size feels more on the big side but between the limits of the size of a normal knob. Good value for money. Haven't tested app connection and settings.

7 months in, and these are still working great. Guests always compliment the feel of the grippy handle, but that began to slip and stretch a few months in. Easily fixed by putting grip tape underneath (I got prodigy core fusion tape here on amazon). Good as new! Still no sign of batteries needing replacement.

So many things wrong with this lockset I can't even list them all. The latch assembly binds making turning the knob to open it difficult. It comes with rubber washers to seal the round plates that fit against the door (good idea in theory): they are floppy and almost impossible to fit into place; if you had 3 hands it might help. The knobs have a nice textured rubber grip: if and when they wear out they cannot be replaced. With such narrow knobs it is pretty difficult to turn them - without the rubber grips it might be impossible, especially if your hands are sweaty. The buttons are difficult to see unless you stoop. To unlock the door so you can come in and out, say to bring in several bags of groceries, you have to enter a special code. That means to (un)set it to pass-through mode you have to do it from the outside. In fact everything the lock can do has to be done from the outside. During the last half century I have installed dozens and dozens of locksets of many different brands. It usually takes all of fifteen minutes MAX. This took me hours. I thought the reason it was difficult to open was because the latch plate was off a bit (very old house). Not the problem. Oh, the wooden stop the door closes against needed to be removed and put back on to accommodate the door because it has warped a wee bit. That wasn't the problem. All in all I spent hours trying to get it installed. Programming: in order to make any changes you have to enter the master code first. Good luck finding it. It is nowhere that I could find in the instructions. Turns out it is in a VERY small box with TINY print on one of the flaps on the box it came in. I found it by accident. Just in case you're crazy enough to buy this thing the master code is 123456. The keys that come with the lockets are cheap and feel like they're going to break off when you use them (you'll need to have them so you can get in while you're looking for the master code or adjusting the door frame so you'll need to plan a trip to a hardware store/locksmith to get something solid made for you. If you like punishment this is the lockset for you. If your tastes are less extreme avoid this thing like the plague.

Works as well as shown. No nonsense product. Easy to install. The directions are idiot proof. Check the existing holes if replacing a knob.
