Fruits Basket Collector's Edition Complete Manga Set Vol 1-12 by Natsuki Takaya.

This is the first full manga series that I have ever read. I watched the original show for this series in the early 2000s and watched the remake from 2019-2022 recently and it was just wonderful, so I had to read the books to find out more about these characters!My favorite part of this series is the character development shown in the three main characters (Tohru, Yuki, Kyo). They all worked through different traumas and came out stronger on the other side.I also loved the primary romantic relationship that forms in the series (not mentioning character names to avoid spoilers!) because they learned not only how to love someone else, but also how to let someone love and care for them as well.The show does do a good job of showing the character and relationship development, but the books give so much better detail.I 100% recommend this series as an intro to manga. This boxset was affordable and comes with bonus pictures in each book which is nice as well! Overall, very happy with the purchase!

I bought this set after reading the reviews, fully prepared for the possibility the first four books might be replaced with the sequel series. I was okay with that possibility, because I want to own the sequel series eventually anyway.However, when they arrived, I was pleased to find my well packaged books held the full set. They were tightly bound and protected. All of the books are in great condition.I have not had the chance to read through them, though, so I cannot speak to whether or not pages are out of order. I will update of something is amiss.

The books come all together, so no waiting for individual books to be delivered you can start reading and go.The books themselves in my opinion are sturdier than I was expecting. They come with an outer slip cover while the actual cover and spine seems to be sturdier than a regular manga issue, so less chances of damage on that end. The pages feel ... harder? By that I mean, I feel less likely the pages will accidentally tear when I turn a page.I paid about 190.00$ for the whole set excluding tax and shipping. I checked multiple sites and sellers and individually for the complete Manga series came to about 200.00 - 220.00$, so you are saving some money.I am very pleased with my purchase and would reccommend this to others who enjoy the Fruits Basket series, who wish to own the entire series.

I love these! I cannot believe how well they were packaged to avoid any damage just how I like it :) I’m ready to crack these babies open and read! The first few pages having full color art is stunning 🤩

Fruits Basket has to be one of my favorite manga/anime so I'm glad to have these books for myself! My order arrived before the estimated delivery date, was beautifully packaged, and was just as described!
