Easy install.
This was a "Trial" purchase. Compared to buying directly from John Deere suppliers, this set saved a few bucks. I was initially concerned about the set not having a "Back Plate" for added security and durability. That turned out to be a non issue. My JD is a small compact 1025R. If I'm planning on lifting anything that would require a back plate, my tractor simply wouldn't have the power in the hydrologic line to do the job. Overall, I'm impressed. I've used them numerous times for hooking fallen trees and dragging them. They helped with the neighbors car sinking in the mud. An all around handy addition and well worth the purchase. I am glad I've got them. I used a step up bit for drilling the required holes in the bucket followed by some touch up paint for the bare metal in the hole. After, I applied a thin layer of grease around the bolt and under the mounting plate. Never hurts to keep the moisture away. The whole process took about 20 mins. Longer had I waited for the paint to fully cure. 😊

Fits perfect. Appears to be beefy enough to hook up just about anything. I lifted my 3-point hole digger--probably 300 pounds--with ease. I'm sure the hooks can take a lot more weight than that--and I'm sure they will get a chance but I've only had them installed for a week.

Well made. Easy to install with clear directions. Haven’t used them yet, but they appear to be very secure and strong. Match the color of my JD compact tractor.

Good Quality for what it is.
These bucket hooks are pretty robust. Hook and ring welds look solid. Powder coat had several chips in it upon delivery but nothing you need to return them for. Hardware is not stainless if you’re afraid of rust. For is good. For the price you can’t go wrong. Items burst out of packaging in transit from what the USPS sticker said but they made it!
