Beautiful, soulful, decorative, natural ¡ª and above all, extremely useful! Unlike other dryer balls, wool dryer balls are NOT made of yarn, which eventually unravels. wool dryer balls are needle felted, and then wet felted. They take a little longer to make, but they are the best quality and will last forever. wool dryer balls reduce dryer time ¨C the more you use, the faster your clothes dry! Drying cloth diapers has never been so easy! They also soften clothes while reducing static and wrinkles. You can even apply essential oils before tossing them in the dryer to lightly scent your laundry and eliminate germs. wool Dryer Balls are : * the eco friendly alternative to dryer sheets * biodegradable * chemical free * energy savers * perfect toys for babies and pets¡.and adults! * NOT made of yarn * great for scenting your drawers and closets * excellent gifts for wedding and baby showers * also decorative! They look marvelous in a pretty bowl on the table!

Stop smiling at me! Laundry isn't fun!
These are very nice to have to get blankets to dry better, but they pull in loose threads and hair and weren't very easy to clean. I'd still use them, though.

Nice looking hair balls
It works. Looks like cat hair rolled into a ball. Used in few cycles and still hasn't lost shape. I like the natural way of using this as a dryer sheet.

Effective at eliminating static and much more quiet than tennis balls
I stopped using fabric softener and dryer sheets a while ago in an effort to reduce the amount of chemicals my family is exposed to. But using my dryer without any static prevention was driving me crazy. I ended up buying those rubber dryer balls that run about $5 each (the pink ones with the purple spikes) and they worked well but didn't last very long. I do 7-8 loads of laundry a week and I got about 8 months of use out of the rubber balls. Then someone suggested I try tennis balls -- don't do it!! Those things are crazy loud as they tumble in your dryer. So the tennis balls were retired to the dog toy bin.I had looked at videos online on how to use wool yarn to make your own dryer balls. After pricing out what 100% wool yarn would cost me, I nixed that idea.I like these dryer balls. I get the same results as using the rubber dryer balls so I have been pleased with their effectiveness. I've used them for a couple of weeks, so I'm estimating they have been run through the dryer 20+ times. I use all 3 at a time and I find it works very well. They don't discolor and have not developed any sort of odor. I'm rating these as 4 stars because they feel hollow to me. The DIY videos I viewed showed how to make solid balls that were 100% wool to the core. I wonder if the lower density of these balls is going to affect how long they last. I will update this review in about 6 months and let you know how they are holding up. But so far, I have been very pleased with their performance.
