Review: It's not so easy to find the perfect LED light that mimics flames but this one does it. - I wanted lights that simulate the randomness dancing of flames for wall sconces in a 90 yr old home. I have no dimmer switches or anything like that so modes didn't interest me. I must have searched 2 dozen different manufacturers of LED flame lights. Reading each page from the top to the bottom, over and over. Only a few will have video on the product page that shows the actual light on. Most have vague descriptions and stock edited photography and not an actual image of the light in action. I found several wonderful looking flame shaped glass bulbs but the "flame" flickering did not resemble fire at all. Others would be in perfect synchronation and since I have 4 bulbs it would look silly, more like a neon sign dancing in unison. Others were as bright as a 60 watt equivalent bulb, way too bright for my application. I tried cheap ones, I tried the ones with the most ratings.... Not what I was looking for. Finally I saw these, the most expensive of all I looked at. The video on the product description showed it was definitely a light with flame behavior but would it be too bright?! I wanted dim light, simulating candles. Well these lights are exactly what I was looking for all along. They may cost a little bit more but these lights look so cool! The one single thing I do not like is the shape of the glass, a flame tip case would have been neat but with such great lighting effects one doesn't even notice. I almost want to buy another for the porch outside... EDIT REVIEW: After a month and a half two of my four bulbs have burned out. I LOVED THESE AT FIRST but the first bulb died literally 5 days after the 30 day replacement guarantee, as if programmed to haha. Save your money, these lights are really cool and set a great atmosphere but what's the point if they last only a month!? And they were $40 for four of them!
Review: My neighbors might call the fire department! - Wow, these are so realistic I'm worried my neighbors will think my light fixtures have caught on fire! I live in a place that gets a lot of forest fires so this is a genuine concern for me, but I still LOVE these bulbs. They flicker so realistically and they're relatively bright. I put one in the recessed fixture above my front door, and the light is still bright enough to create that flickering effect on the door and the ground below. Keep in mind that in my use case, the bulbs are on external fixtures that are seen from a distance rather than up close. From a distance they look super realistic. Up close it's obvious that they are a tube shaped LED bulb. I'm mildly obsessed with lighting and have multicolored LED bulbs in half of my home's light fixtures already, plus a few LED strings here and there. I have to say that these flickering fire bulbs are some of my favorites. The only improvement I can think of is if they came with remotes that allowed me to change the brightness and color of the flame (like I can with all my other LED lights.) PS. I bought one of the desertcart Warehouse deals at a discount and I was worried that someone had returned them to desertcart because a bulb was broken. I was hoping that desertcart had tested each of the four bulbs to make sure they all worked before reselling them, but worried that they hadn't because that has been a repeated experience of mine over the years. Sure enough, one of the bulbs didn't work so I've started the return process and ordered another set. This is the second time this month that a Warehouse Deal did not arrive as described and it DOES get annoying to have to go return things on a regular basis.

I wanted lights that simulate the randomness dancing of flames for wall sconces in a 90 yr old home. I have no dimmer switches or anything like that so modes didn't interest me. Originally brought these in Feb. 2023 and I’m just now swapping one of the bulbs out so they last a really long time the flame is also very visually appealing 10/10 would recommend
