I bought this for my friend who is a mother of medically complex child. She spends a lot of time in the car and goes through a lot! This was the perfect gift for her!

My kids are high-school & college aged so I was worried I wouldn't get much out of this, but I was wrong! No matter what stage your kids are at, this book will speak to you. We are all trying to be the best mother we can be & this book helps guide us moms to be the best version of ourselves we can not only for us but our children. It's also comforting knowing we aren't alone in this raising kids journey. Perfect book for the car as the very short chapters can be read in a few minutes but then you can reflect on what you read for long after that. Love how real her stories are & how each chapter gives great advice filled with love & ends with a prayer.

Mary has created the must have, easy to take along guide for all moms. As a mom of 4 girls ranging in age of 23 to 8, it is so nice to be able to refer to this book of prayers and reflections. It’s like Mary has crawled into our minds and knows exactly what to say and how to encourage us through all the seasons of parenting. If you’re like me and your car is your escape, your place to have a minute to breath—you need this book.

Mary Carver was able to put into words so many things that were in my heart and help guide me through prayer. I love how the chapters are listed by topic so you can find what you are looking for. It’s been a long time since I read a book that reminds me that I’m not alone in my motherhood journey. I read this on Kindle today and have already ordered several copies for Mom friends - with kids ranging from toddlers to teenagers. The chapters are just the right size to read in a car, in the parking lot, or while trying to grab a few minutes while the toddler is napping, or you’re on the sidelines of another sports practice. I can’t recommend this book highly enough for any Christian Mom.

Amazing devotional book for us mothers!As busy and chaotic as life can be this always brought me back to my happy place.

Easy to read! Draws me into the words, and points me back to Christ. The author seems very “in touch” with moms/ladies and is very relatable. If you have a few minutes each day, grab this book and read it! You’ll be so glad you did! : )

This is a great book. Easy to read and encouraging. I found myself reading more than one devotional/prayer at a time because Mary is such an engaging, encouraging, and encouraging writer
