Q: Is the filter safe for saltwater reef tanks?

We typically use our Koi Filter Pad in ponds and have not personally used this pad in reef tanks. Our Premium Dual Density filter pads is ours and our customers choice for saltwater aquariums fish only and reefs. Worth the price! Easy to clean and reuse! Stop looking and buy this!

Worth every penny! I have a 1000 gallon pond with 30+ tilapia (too many! didn't expect this many to survive). So needless to say I have a LOT of filtration, 3000gph and 1000gph pumps feeding biological, mechanical and a bog filter. Finding media that is effective and reuseable (cleanable) has been a challenge. This is the 4th media I have tried and I am very happy with it! Rinsing it out with just a garden hose and spray nozzle gets it clean enough for reuse and it seems durable enough to hold up to this processes for a long time.

Good stuff

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Non toxic and it got rid of the green sheet algie in my small pond. The dogs and birds drink out of it regularly so I needed something safe. It turned that Alfie into brown gunk that filtered right out and it was seems to inhibit more growth at least for a time. Easy to use and perfect for my pond.
