Well, after a while, I found that all contour pillows are not alike. Depending on your size, the part of the pillow that supports your neck can be too high or too low unless the manufacturer sells more than one size option allowing one to purchase the correct height thickness to support the neck. This pillow is amazing! I was suffering from neck pain and every morning when I woke up it was in more pain after I slept. Now after having this pillow in pain free. My neck no longer hurts and even my upper back feels better. I noticed a difference the first night I slept on it. I sleep so much better now! The quality of the pillow is amazing… supportive, perfect firmness and good quality memory foam.

This is a pretty good pillow. I suffer from major neck pain, and found that this pillow was pretty good when sleeping on my side. I initially ordered the normal one, but then re-purchased the thicker version which was better for neck support. My only issue is that this is not good for stomach-sleeping, which I do around 70% of the time.

This pillow was so comfortable and not only that it was so cold. I just love how nice I slept in it because like the memory foam inside of it is so soft. I also like how big it is compared to normal pillows because it is like 1.5x bigger so it will be better if you roll in your sleep

Great idea for a pillow with the removable layers. I tried with with 4 and then 3 layers and then for 2-1/2 weeks I woke up with a stiff sore neck and headache. It would be better if it was a softer grade of memory foam. Pillows are very personal I guess

I tried and sent back w other pillows before I committed to the expense of this pillow. I bought the biggest, thickest one available.I have used a contour pillow for over 20 years. My last one expired and the sear was on for a replacement. I am a 5’1” 62 year old female that weights 147 lbs. I can lie on my side with this pillow and I am not smashing my shoulder.As a warning: this pillow is firm. The first night was uncomfortable, but after that, I started sleeping better than ever. It has softened up a little.When I bought a memory foam mattress, the store had a video that instructed the buyer to walk on the mattress for 10 minutes. I suggest you do that with this pillow as well. It opens up the foam cells a bit and makes it less rock hard.This is definitely a must have for back and side sleepers. I actually can sleep on my stomach with it as well, but not for too long, my back has too much arthritis. I am a physical therapist and this style pillow is what I recommend.
