My son dinged up the front of our Mazda. I used this to cover it up since the slightest ding seems to cost over a thousand dollars nowadays to repair. It worked perfectly to cover the ding, and it looks good too!

I have a 2020 CX5 that seemed to be missing something.This turned out to be the something that the front of the CX5 needed, it seems to complete the look of the car.Pictures do not show how much better it makes the car look.P.S. I am not sure how well this would hold up in an automated car wash but since it is just double sided tape, reapplying should not be a major task.The install is relatively easy.1) Clean the area where it is to be applied and finish cleaning with rubbing alcohol.2) Take the tape completely off the shortest pieces of tape.3) Start peeling the tape off both edges of the longer pieces (just enough so it curls over the edge of the trim).4) Place one corner then move over to the far corner to ensure it is aligned correctly.5) Once aligned correctly, pull more of the tape covering off and press down to adhere fully.6) Once both sides are adhered make sure you press down to get good contact (Use a a heat gun to assist if you like).7) Enjoy.... :-)

This item really finishes the look of the car. I can't believe Mazda left this out of their design. Looks amazing. This is a high quality part, that actually took only 10 minutes to apply. Comes well packed too.To Install accurately, I lined up the trim part so it was perfectly centered and put a piece of masking tape from the hood to the part. I then drew to witness lines on the tape and very carefully slit the tape horizontally with a razor knife to release the trim part. Next I pulled off the 3M tape backing. Finally, I carefully positioned the trim part using the witness marks from center line outward, pressing the right side first into position and then the left. Once in place I used a heat gun to gently raise the temperature to about 100 degrees while pushing and holding the trim part in place incrementally over its full length.

This product didn’t even come close to fitting my hood. It was to short .

This one small piece of trim did absolute wonders to improve the look of the bonnet and grill of my CX-5.It was a cinch to install, too. I would recommend having a helper to ensure the placement goes well after the films are removed from the adhesive tape...although, if you have an exceptional eye and steady hands, it could easily be a one person job, as the piece weighs practically nothing and is not too long to handle by oneself.The part came very well wrapped and boxed.The only issue I have is the high price charged for this part. But we all know how that goes...sometimes the benefit outweighs this concern when you believe the price also includes the tremendous joy you’ll feel looking at the increased beauty of your vehicle.

This piece really elevates the look of my CX-5. It was easy to install. The only con is it had some minor surface scratches, but not very noticeable from a normal distance. I highly recommend this product!

First one arrived snapped in half, new one arrived two days later. So far, so good...hope the tape keeps it in place over time. There is a good amount of tape that seems to secure it very well to the paint. This piece also acts as a small bug/rock deflector and should protect the nose from chipping. If possible have a second person help. Once you remove the tape and position the piece for mounting...you'd better have it right. A couple millimeters one way or the other will result in a poor fit and a negative review. Even the Service Guys at the Mazda dealership were impressed with the modified nose.

Looks amazing. Has a lip on the front that covers the vulnerable paint on the leading edge of the hood- something I usually buy a bug shield or the clear protectant spray film for-but this looks so much better. Looks factory and should have been factory- and like all the rest of the car- it is only plastic chrome so nothing to worry.I had some adhesion problems so replaced the generic two-sided tape with 3M tape trim tape that was wider and trustworthy. Took some effort to get the old off- but very worth it with the $10.99 worth of 3-m tape.
