Very strong well made.
I didn’t realize how sturdy it was going to be. Was easy to wire to my can am defender. Wire could be a foot longer to make the wiring a little easer. Lift is a little slow but I’m very happy with it.Cons.Wish the wires were longer and had better ends on them. I replaced all the electrical ends with Deutsche connections because I pulled out all the pins on the cheap connectors they used. I hit a big rock or some frozen ground when I first used it and ripped the bottom frame. I called black boar and they immediately sent me new parts over night mail. Great customer service. Will buy from them again.

Black Boar Electric Implement Lift- Close to great, but not quite there.
I bought the Black Boar Electric Implement Lift with S-Tine Cultivator to do some shallow tilling of a small grassy woodland foot plot for deer. I didn't need to be so aggressive because I was only planting clover- just a few inches of disturbance would do the trick.FIRST IMPRESSIONS- The packaging is not quite adequate to handle the weight of the product. The box arrived with parts hanging out a hole in the corner. The wiring harness of the linear actuator had a gash in the insulation. Not happy about that, but didn't have time to contact the Mfr. So I just taped it up. Grrrrrr. Overall the unit is quite beefy. I do some hobby metal fab, including implements for my UTV. I was very pleased with the metal thickness- heavy gauge 2" square tubing and lots of 1/4" gusseting. I'm guessing my UTV hitch will give out before this thing does. The marketing video says it's "light weight" and shows a guy picking it up with one hand. Hm. Some thick-necked guys maybe, but for the average joe- yer gonna need two arms... AND your back once you get the implement attached. But I'd rather have it that way than the alternative.ASSEMBLY- Assembling the lift was a snap. Assembling the S-Tine cultivator was arduous, LOTS of wrenching to get the nuts fully threaded on all the U-bolts. But ok, comes with the territory.INSTALLATION- Mounting the lift on my hitch was a royal PITA. The hitch pin provided with the unit is a slightly larger diameter than any such pin I have ever encountered. I literally had to bang it with a hammer to get it in the hole on my hitch. Normally I would have just grabbed one of the many pins I already own that fit properly, but I was in the woods far from home. Grrrrrrr. The electrical part is a no-brainer. It took maybe 30 minutes, including wire-tying the cables to the frame for a clean install. Very pleased with the quality of the cabling and weather-resistant connectors.REAL WORLD USE- I worked a 1/4 acre plot. The ground has some small rocks, but the soil was moist. My UTV is a Polaris Ranger 800. It took longer than expected, lots and lots of passes. But alas, it did the job. When I was done, I inspected the unit for damage and found two issues. First, one of the S-Tines had bent out of shape. This was a major disappointment because I really didn't hit any hardcore obstacles. Now I need to figure out how to replace it and at what cost. GRRRRRR. The second issue is that the two little nuts and bolts that hold the mounting strap on the electrical switch BOTH vibrated their way completely out during use. Luckily I found one set on the floor of my Polaris. The other set is not doubt buried in the dirt. A small detail, but COME-ON guys. This is meant to ride on an ATV for pete's sake. THEY VIBRATE. Would it add that much cost to dab a little thread lock on the bolt???? Grrrrrr.FINAL THOUGHTS- I believe I paid the "early to market" price for this device (aka NOT cheap). While overall it's well designed and plenty strong enough for the task at hand, the little details left me quite frustrated- ESPECIALLY the bent tine. Not quite sure I can fully recommend it.

Awesome
Very well built and easy assembly, comes with excellent hardware. Definitely worth the extra $$$ for the electric lift, I can’t imagine having to crank it up and down manually on each pass.Boxes were beat when they arrived but every piece inside was in perfect shape and accounted for, bought the lift, disc, chisel plow, and rake and not a single issue during assembly.I started out cautiously with the plow but after switching to the disc I got braver and started getting more aggressive with each pass. I ultimately was pretty much abusing it and I did manage to slightly bend a disc on a huge Boulder I turned up, but this thing is tough as hell and survived with zero damage other than my careless collision. Worth every penny I spent and plan to purchase the blade as well once it’s back in stock.

CLEARED 1 ACRE 5 STAR PRODUCT
Cleared 1 acre I had mulched in about 2 days. I'm the usual person who never leaves a review but I had to get on here and tell everyone to make sure they get the electric version and not the manual version. Had I gotten the manual version what I did in 2 days would have taken me a month or longer. I probably actuated the up and down motion 1000 times or more. The actuator is very strong and powerful and will lift my polaris 570 off the ground no problem. The rake attachement works wonders and even hitting big tree stumps in the ground it just keeps on going. Nothing broke or bent I abused this black boar lift and it works like new. Usually when I put things to the test they have a breaking point. I can see this lasting a lifetime.

Surprised by great customer service
I bought this lift and disc attachment to disc up a few small food plots for deer. I used it a couple times with my Suzuki 750 4 wheeler and it worked good but then I realized it bent the frame of my quad because it was just to heavy. I loaned it to a friend to use with his side by side on about an acre piece and he was thrilled by how great it worked on the first pass. The second time he went over it, the bottom square tube on the lift broke completely off. He called black boar to order a replacement tube. They asked if I had I bought it over a year ago and He told them he didn’t know when I had bought it and he was fine with buying the part. They said they would go ahead and send the part free of charge. We were both amazed when a whole new lift arrived 11 days later. This is the first time in a really long time I’ve had a company go way above my expectations with their customer service.

Needs more description
Seemed like a good idea to purchase this at the time. Looks sturdy enough to do what I want it to EXCEPT it doesn’t fit the atv hitch. 2018 can am outlander XMR 1000. If you look at the picture you’ll see just how much longer the black boar lift is compared to the hitch that does fit. Now I have to cut it down. Also it is a PITA to assemble. Whoever designed it to require wear rings/washers needs to be slapped. There is no easy way to place the bolt thru the first hole slip the wear ring on slide it thru the bar and then get the other washer on the inside before pushing the bolt all the way thru. Over all not very pleased with the fact it doesn’t fit.
