I bought it for a shipping container project. Opening the package, I was surprised at the visual quality of the tool and box, which could double as a case. I emediately popped 36 1/4" rivets on my project. It worked great. The tool is good quality at a very good price.

So much less force needed to use than a pistol grip rivet tool. 5/32" stainless rivets are not a problem. Handles are ergonomic, although you do need to use both hands, but I think that's as good as it gets with manual riveters. The tool looks well made, well thought out with the shape and the catchment bin, and overall just pleasant to use.

Needed a good 1/4" rivet gun. Thought to give this one a try. I am impressed. Being in the industry over 40+ yrs. I know a good tool once I use it. I had to rivet some 1/2" steel rivets to an engine mount. I gave it a go and had to really put some effort behind it to get the steel rivets secure. However, it worked just fine. I did try the same 1/4" aluminum rivets to compare and they were much easier to compress. Either way, it's worth the time/effort.
