Quick Release Belt

I haven’t had the chance to use this belt yet, but my first impression is very positive. The material feels sturdy, the buckle looks heavy-duty, and it seems well made. It arrived in excellent condition and looks exactly as described. I’m looking forward to wearing it for work and everyday use. Based on the quality so far, I’d definitely recommend it.

Nice sturdy belt with just enough stretch for hook up. A little tricky to get the buckle through the pants loops, but it does state that in the instructions. But is is doable if your too lazy to remove and reinstall the buckle, which is very easy to do. I actually bought 2, one in black also.

Very durable, comfortable, offers a light stretch without being loose, and the quick release is great. I am extremely hard on belts, but I’ve been using this one for about a year now, and it’s still kicking. I work as a maintenance technician which demands constant bending, twisting, kneeling, and often 18,000+ steps per day. I carry my phone, flashlight, tool holster, and about 2 pounds of keys on this belt, and there’s not even enough warping to tell where the different items rest on the belt. My only complaint (thus the missing star) is the slippage through the buckle throughout the day. Not surprisingly, all the weight coupled with constant movement, requires me to constantly re-tighten the belt, which can get a little annoying. Overall though, impressively durable and good quality.

★★★★★ Excellent Tactical Belt – Worth the Extra Setup This tactical belt takes a little more effort to set up than a standard belt because you have to thread one side through the buckle system before wearing it. However, once it’s adjusted, it’s incredibly convenient. The quick-release buckle is fantastic. Putting the belt on is as simple as clicking the two buckle halves together, and you’re ready to go. The belt stays adjusted all day without needing constant readjustment. One thing I especially like is that the buckle pieces are too large to pass through belt loops. Some people might see that as a disadvantage, but for me it’s actually a benefit. It keeps the belt securely attached to my pants, so I never have to worry about it sliding out of the loops or needing to be rethreaded during the day. The nylon material is also much more comfortable than a traditional leather belt. I can wear it while working at my computer, relaxing, or even lying in bed without feeling uncomfortable. With my old leather belts, I often felt like I needed to take them off. This one is comfortable enough to leave on all day. Yes, removing the belt requires unthreading one side of the buckle system, but that’s a small tradeoff for the security and convenience it provides. Once it’s set up on a pair of pants, it works exactly the way a true tactical belt should—secure, comfortable, and always ready to go with a quick click. Highly recommended.

You have to remove the buckle each time to fit the belt in to most pants/ belt loops. It works well but it takes time. It's worked for almost 2 years now but I'm ready for a new belt that is easy on and easy off.

I like the belt and wear it daily. Added stability for my edc. Quick release is very convenient. The only thing I don’t care for is that I have to remove the latch mechanism every time I change pants. No big deal however if they could designed to fit thru 1.5 inch loops it would resolve this challenge.

First off, if you are buying this belt for a pair of pants, it's a pain in the butt (no pun intended). You have to remove the end and loop the belt through the pants and then put the end back on (it's in the video). If you are buying it to use as a service belt, it's perfect for that. You will need some 1.5 inch belt keepers. This belt is durable and will last a long time. Once you have it adjusted to your size you're all set to go. The buckle is easy to click on and off. This is one of the best service belts I've seen and I give it my highest recommendation.

It's a great buckle for tightening or loosening on the fly without being locked into specific holes on a traditional belt. VERY good if camping or hunting and you happen to have gear/tool bags hanging from the belt and you have to tighten as you hike or work. The strap fabric also has a bit of give, so you're not pinched if you've tightened it while hiking and then go to sit down. This feels like essential outdoor gear to have, would definitely recommend. I bought this belt for my size waist and could easily cut a good 5" or 6" inches off the end, which I think I will do. As for the buckle not fitting through your belt loops, you have to be smarter than the belt. No other way to say it. Instructions are pretty clear -- run the belt strap itself through your pant loops with the buckle snapped shut on one end, like any standard belt. Insert the open strap end into the buckle and tighten it. From then on you can open and close the belt buckle with an easy touch of it's button. No need to take the strap out of the buckle until you put the belt into another pair of pants. It is no harder than a standard belt.
