Doesn’t fit my bowl very but works for what it is intended for

I’ve been wanting to purchase one of these for years to go with my Kitchenaid K4SS bowl lift mixer, but I feel like I could never get clear answers if the pouring shield would work for it. I’m here to tell you it fits perfectly! I just used it to mix up some pudding. There was no interference with my scraper blade, and it sat nicely on the edge of my mixing bowl. It didn’t keep splatters away perfectly, and I still draped a towel over everything, but it is so nice to have an easy way to add ingredients now. I’m a pleased customer and wish I’d gotten this sooner.

Works perfectly with my metal bowl, but my glass bowl it does NOT fit correctly

Fits my kitchen aide mixer and works great. It is easy to use and easy to clean. Would buy again.

Although this item does help keep powdery substances such as flour from splashing up at you, it doesn’t cover the bowl completely. Things still splash out of the back. It also only sits loosely on top of the bowl. It does not snap on. Good for pouring while beater is in the down position but again, don’t lean on the top because it is not snapped on. It is very loosely sitting there.

KitchenAid mixers should come with this guard as a standard accessory. Pouring ingredients into the large spout area allows you to add things like flour and sugar without dusting the entire counter with blow back. Great for containing splashes and messes. Do not expect it to fit tightly. It sits comfortable on top of the mixing bowl but does not snap into place.

don’t waste your money! very flimsy doesn’t cover the whole thing. I used it one time somehow the whisk git it and it fell and broke!
