Great upgrade from Mighty Mule Remotes for an affordable price.
I got these because I wanted a good remote that went on my key chain for my mighty mule gate opener.I usually sit in front of my gate and push the mighty mule remote 3-5 times inching closer and closer to get it to open. Most times I even have to unclip the mighty mule remotes and point them directly at the opener to get it to work... Well then I got these remotes and man they are all around better. They work from waaaaay further away, they work waaaaay more reliably, and they were easy and fast to program with the learn button. The only downside is that they are a little bit big to put on your key chain. If you dont mind a clunky keychain then you can remove the clip and its no big deal at all. Or you can keep the clip and put it in your car and skip the key chain part.I originally bought a universal remote that was much smaller but it was not compatible with my gate. It cost me $30 for 1 remote. I returned it and bought this one for the same price with 3 remotes.

Works with MM272
Setup was easy once I looked up the FM134/FM135 user guide. The MM272 doesn't have a learn button and the remote that came with the kit did not have dip switches. Just set the dip switches to random settings, then on the system turned off, press and hold the remote button and turn the system on. Hold for 8-10sec and you should hear a beep. My first try without the instructions didn't work. I didn't hold the remote button long enough. Set both remotes to the same dip switch settings and they both work! Pretty sure this is the same for the MM271.

BETTER THAN THE ONES FROM TRACTOR SUPPLY
I HAVE BOUGHT NINE OF THESE!!! YES, I SAID 9. THESE ARE ALREADY PROGRAMMED TO YOUR GATE, SO OPEN THE PACK AND CLICK AWAY. THEY WORK BETTER THAN THE ONES YOU BUY FROM TRACTOR SUPPLY AND COST A THIRD OF THE PRICE. I'VE NOT HAD ONE PROBLEM WITH ANY OF THESE. THEY ARE IN ALL OF OUR VEHICLES, ON OUR TRACTORS, ON THE FOUR WHEELER (IN THE RAIN ALTHOUGH, YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO LEAVE THEM IN THE RAIN), ON OUR GOLF CART, LIKE I SAID, I BOUGHT NINE LOL... I WILL BE BUYING MORE FOR MY FAMILY TO USE.

Easy-to-use, high-quality replacement for Mighty Mule fobs
I have been using Mighty Mule gate openers for ten years. When I suddenly needed an additional fob, I was surprised at the contradictory reviews for this product. Either these worked out of the box, or a series of steps were required to reset the gate opener for these to work, or these did not work at all. Based on the reviews alone, it wasn't easy to make a decision to buy. Here is everything you need to know to make your buying decision. As you can see in pic2, this product (on the right) is identical in size and appearance to the MM fob (on the left). It is highly likely this fob will work with all MM gate openers that use this type of fob.If you still have a fob for your gate opener, working or broken, you do not need to take apart your gate opener to use this product. In this case, there are two possibilities: your gate opener was installed using factory settings and this product is likely to work out of the box; your gate opener has a custom security code and your existing fob is used to set the code on the new fob. If the new fob doesn't work out of the box, remove the screws from the backs of both your existing and new fobs. The security code is set by the nine tiny switches, see pic1. Set the new fob to exactly the same switch positions as your existing fob. NOTE: switches are three position: +, 0, -. Each switch must be exactly set. Now your new fob will work with your gate opener. The other case is that you no longer have a fob for your gate opener. You must open the plastic enclosure of your gate opener, which has the same block of security switches you'll use to set your new fob.Bonus! This fob seems to be more powerful than the factory fob and perhaps activates the gate opener from a greater distance.

Works with Mighty Mule, but may need to troubleshoot
UPDATE: Two years later the remotes are still working well.I purchased a set of these Gate1Access remote transmitters that were labeled to be compatible with a GTO/Mighty Mule gate opener (which I have). Setting the code was easy, but figuring out why the new transmitter wouldn't work the opener was a little more challenging. After reading through the questions and a few of the other reviews (and trying everything to no avail), I finally read one that mentioned that the switches on the Gate1Access (aftermarket) transmitter might be switched from the MightyMule transmitter - that the positives and negatives might actually be opposite. So I moved all the DIP switches to the opposite of my GTO/MM transmitter. Still nothing. However, when I moved them BACK to exactly match my GTO/MM transmitter code, the new (aftermarket) transmitter now works. So, if you are having a little trouble getting the new transmitter set correctly, don't give up! Read through the questions and reviews here and see if someone else doesn't have a solution that will work for you. I did not rate the durability of these transmitters as I haven't used them yet. Only just got them programmed. I'll try to remember to come back here and update this review in a few months.

Grwat buy and they work 3 times better than MM remotes
These remotes shipped out the next day. All three remotes were in their own boxes and those boxes were in a larger box. Super easy to set up these remotes from my mighty mule remote. Just copy the pin placements These remotes have 9 pins vs 8 pins on the mighty mile. You can't leave the last pin in the middle. You must put it up or down for it to work. These remotes came with a battery and they work 3 times farther away than MM remote. I would buy them again if I ever needed more remotes. I believe most bad reviews are people not reading the online intructions and not moving the last pin to up or down. Do some research before buying as I did and you'll have no problems with these remotes.

Works with mighty mule gate opener
I've had the product about 2 weeks. pretty easy setup. So far so good on a mighty mule gate opener. I had an original remote so I opened both at the same time to set the channel frequency.
