Bill Simpson wakes up to find he's a girl, and worse, his mother makes him wear a frilly pink dress to school. How on earth is he going to survive a whole day like this? Everything just seems to be different for girls. Review: Bills New Frock - Very good book. Bought so grand doughter could read this book at home to keep up with school work reading class. Review: As good as I remembered - This was one of my favourite stories as a child. I read it numerous times. It's funny, emotional, and packs an important message about how boys and girls are treated and to what extent these treatments are necessary vs unnecessary/unfair. Lovely book.

great for bedtime stories
bought a few books recently for my little boy. He loved this book- laughing out loud at some of it. Great story about a boy who wakes up one day to find that everyone thinks he is a girl and has to go to school wearing a pink dress!! Love the way Anne fine looks at the way boys and girls are treated differently and really enjoyed reading this book to my son.

An interesting Read
A book for children but easily enjoyed by any adult interested in psychology of the background idea behind the novel!
