I am a female, 5 ft 4 inches and 132 pounds. I bought a small, but my calf width is about 15 inches, which is the upper end of medium or middle of large range on their chart. So, this is one of those times where actually measuring yourself before you order may help. But the quality is great; I plan to return these and order a larger size.

MIST BUY especially if you are in the healthcare or cosmology field and don’t like super long socks like me lol your legs will thank you at the end of your shift. Washes well in the washing machine no rips or shrinkage great value for the price very durable.

Good compression, I like that my toes are open, I can wear cotton socks with them and not be enclosed in synthetic fibers. I purchased the 2 pack at an excellent price. However, I found that when wearing as illustrated, when the top edge was in the groove above my calf by my knee, it acted almost like a tourniquette at that point and my feet seemed more swollen. So, I pulled it down to over my arch, and the top cuff was over the fuller part of my calf. Much more comfortable and worked much better. Removed for bed and less heaviness in my calves when trying to sleep. I've seen a YouTube therapist with the whole tube shifted upwards. The top was pulled above her knee onto her lower thigh and the lower edge is then several inches above her ankle, I'll try that and update results. I have short legs and wish they were a little longer, so if you have long legs .......OK, I tried it pulled up onto my thigh, not so comfortable. The top rolls down a bit towards the crease at the back of the knee and you get that tourniquette feeling. Once you find the position that works for you, the compression is good and helps the heavy feeling in the calves. Price is right, esp the 2 pack.

My husband stands on his feet most of the day and has swelling in both legs, but wants to be able to wear fashionable socks, and he has found these compression tubes to be very comfortable, easy to put on, and it does the job he was looking for. Would recommend for anyone with poor circulation.

My last pair of calf sleeves were over engineered and extremely pricey. I bought these as a back up for days when my main pair were in the wash but these exceeded my expectations and I ordered more.

Once you’ve measured your calves, go up a size if you’re between sizes. I didn’t, and the fit was too tight while I walked and jogged. True, no more shin splint pain (which was why I got them) … but I felt like I simply could not walk. It felt like someone had put weights on my legs and was pulling me back as I tried to go forward. Despite this, I foolishly pushed ahead and wound up hurting my knee. But hey, again, no shin splint pain!Putting them on was a pain (I’d never worn anything like this before, disclaimer), and taking them off was also really annoying … harder than getting them on.Given the awesome reviews, it was probably my selecting the wrong size and inexperience that caused all the trouble. Still, I don’t think I’m willing to try again.

This item is a very necessary item for people like me, who must wear them daily as required via my doctor's orders. It serves well to help me with no discomfort during the day. I have order several more.

I get "the jimmy legs" (Seinfeld reference) at night, and this helped calm down my calves. Feels really nice. Have not used them for running but I might...if I start running, which, let's be honest, isn't likely.

Getting a surgery in a few weeks and wanted to loose a few lbs beforehand. Walking and jogging on the treadmill was giving me shin and can muscle pain. These are working absolutely great and taking the pain factor out of the equation.
