![T.J. Hooker: The Complete Series [DVD]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81iVWAPP+BL.jpg)

The legendary William Shatner (Star Trek, Boston Legal) stars as a tough-as-nails officer of the law in T.J. Hooker: The Complete Series. Sgt. Thomas Jefferson Hooker is a veteran cop with the LCPD who has the smarts and the skills to take on the city's toughest criminals. Along with his young partners in blue, cocky Vince Romano (Adrian Zmed, Bachelor Party, Grease 2) and comely Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear, Melrose Place, Dynasty), Hooker protects and serves with all the courage he can muster…and he's taking out the city's trash…one perp at a time! A popular TV favorite throughout its five-season run from 1982 to 1986, T.J. Hooker delivers all the action, excitement, and pure unfiltered Shatnerian brilliance one could ask for. You have the right to watch T.J. Hooker: The Complete Series—any other cop show you watch can and will be held against you in a court of law! Review: Buy It!! Worth Every Episode of the Entire Five Seasons Set - If you are the slightest bit hesitant about buying this entire series - don't be! I have waited and waited.... Then finally it's here! OMG I am so happy. I've brought back my original review because I believe it encapsulates how much I enjoyed this series and the reasons why. If you are in way leery of laying out the bucks, I can not only reassure you that it is well worth it, but I am willing to send you my First Two Seasons of T. J. HOOKER for the cost of postage - so you can decide for yourself how great this series actually is. I started from the beginning of the 5 season set so I could thoroughly enjoy it all over again. During these crazy times when police shootings stay in the headlines, this is a great show to watch to get an understanding from the perspective of the uniformed police officers. It's a crazy world out there and seemingly getting crazier by the day. The officers do an amazing job daily, putting their lives on the line to serve and protect as they have been sworn to do. Unfortunately like in all professions there are a few bad apples; only because these bad apples have a gun do the odds go against an innocent party. This show demonstrates how easily it can happen. As well as how vulnerable the cops can be when they show up unaware of all the circumstances in a very dangerous situation. If you enjoy the cop/forensic shows from the 70s, like SWAT, Columbo, Quincy ME, The FBI, and Adam 12. Stories produced by Spelling and Goldberg were quality made, still showing revelance to current times. The picture quality is excellent as well as the sound. The only disappointment is that there were only two seasons. The first one was very short. This is some very good TV that I will be watching again. You get to know the reoccurring characters and want to know what is going to happen next in their lives. Buy it, it's cheap! But don't let the price fool you it is worth several times the cost. An added bonus is you get to see TV stars in their youth (the beginning of their careers), including William Shatner. Crank up the DVD player and get ready for some enjoyment. January 8, 2016 I just found out that there are 3 more seasons of TJ HOOKER! :-D. Deleriously happy! Now if only Sony or Mill Creek will release them! Come on guys if you'll release them - we will buy them! December 2016 - The entire 5 season set came out and I BOUGHT it! Gonna have a great time watching it :0) 🙋🙌🙌 Review: Great series - Great TV series. Thankful that I have it on DVD now.

The only way (as of now) to have all seasons of TJ Hooker
Well, let's put it right out there, what choice do you have? This is the only way, at this time, to get all 5 seasons of Tj. Hooker. Every other release pretty much only holds the first 2. But with that out of the way, how good is the show and the package? Show: *CONTENT ISSUES: now, this is a very safe show in terms of content...and especially compared to what is "acceptable" today. In terms of language it gets no worse than "D--n". In terms of Innuendo...none at all. Sexually, nothing really to fear. But this takes place in a California-like area and you will go to the beach and poolsides. And there, you'll find bikini clad ladies. You will also visit strip clubs...but the ladies don't strip down past a bikini. In some episodes, you'll find a woman in a bubble bath or milk bath, but, again, nothing is shown (and it makes sense in context). That's pretty much as far as it gets, but if that bothers you, at least you know. Sometimes Hooker may spend time with a lady....but nothing is shown (not even the usual "take-off-each-other's-clothes" kind of thing. In terms of violence, nothing terribly graphic. There are fights, there is blood, there is explosions. But this is standard 1980's level of violence. Nothing gratuitous.. ABOUT THE SHOW: For me, this is the quintessential William Shatner role. I enjoy him with this role much more than i did in his Star Trek one. There are many things I loved about the show: 1. Cast chemistry is phenomenal and watching each of them develop as officers is wonderful to see. That and the characters themselves are intriguing...both major and minor 2. The cases themselves are pretty interesting individually. Outside of the criminal vs cop formula, no case is truly the same as another. Each has enough variety to separate it from another. 3.Except for the occasional two-parter, it's mostly episodic, but some bits of development do happen. But the episodic nature does allow this to be more bite-sized than say "Battlestar Galactica" and more friendly to "quick bites". 4. The show often deals with real issues in law enforcement in a smart and intelligent way that can make you think. 5. The soundtrack is the best of 80's cop shows...and much work obviously went into the arranging and recording of it. Really sets the mood. PACKAGING: As great as the show is, the packaging is really barebones. No special features and no captions. But it does come in in 4 dvd cases housing 5-6 discs in a flip-book kind of housing. All the cases are gathered together in a thin cardboard box. All in all, this is a necessary classic police show that is both intelligent and entertaining. As far as I'm concerned, Captain Kirk can move over for Sargent Hooker.

A Childhood Favorite
Watching T.J. Hooker The Complete Series brought back so many great memories. Growing up, I’d rush home to catch Sergeant Thomas Jefferson Hooker on TV, a no-nonsense, street smart cop who tackled daring chases, dramatic standoffs and the challenges of old-school policing with grit and style. He wasn’t preaching lofty morals, but you could always count on him to put everything on the line to protect the city and help his younger partners learn the ropes. The action still feels like classic 80s fun and having all five seasons in one set makes it a joy to revisit those iconic moments. For anyone who grew up with it or just loves old school cop shows, this series is a perfect nostalgic watch.

Entire 1982 TV Cop classic series
How did William Shatner follow up his success Star Trek? T.J. Hooker! In addition to Shatner, Aaron Spelling’s production features Grease 2’s Adrian Zmed, and of course, Melrose Place’s Heather Locklear in her first recurring series role. Series is a blast with cop action, car chases and crashes. But the best moments are the banter in the squad car between veteran cop Hooker and his rookie partner. Also the Police Academy offers lots of teachable moments with TJ and the recruits that are not to be missed. Loads of 80’s guest stars and familiar faces and celebrities… some playing themselves … like The Beach Boys or Jerry Lee Lewis…. others young future stars and character actors like Better Call Saul’s Jonathan Banks, or Jonathan Goldsmith a.k.a. “ the most interesting man in the world”… Jim Brown, Robert Davi, etc.

Love this series. I missed it when it originally was aired. I basically could not stop watching this, episode after episode. The Cast is wonderful. Shatner is very likeable here and Adrian Zmed is funny. Heather of course is always good and love her scenes. James Darren is always great. I am very happy with my purchase. Take yourself back to the 80's and enjoy. LA in the background is always a good thing :)

La única razón por la que no le doy 5 estrellas es que no está remasterizada a una mejor resolución. Es un producto bueno para lo que es, estoy satisfecho.

If you are a fan of 80s cop shows then this is for you. TJ Hooker starred William Shatner in his second famous role as a tough police sargent who took no nonsense when it came to dealing with criminals in his jurisdiction and to help him fight crime Adrian Zmed as OFFICER VINCENT ROMANO along with JAMES DARREN as Officer James Corrigan and his partner Heather Locklear as OFFICER STACY SHERIDAN doing double filming duty on this and Dynasty as Sammy Jo but here she goes undercover when needed otherwise Officer Sheridan is backing up her godfather TJ Hooker and Romano when required. This show was a must watch on Saturday evenings and now I can relive those feelings I had when I watched them on original transmission. For those of who who love the X Files theme Mark Snow is the genius behind TJ Hookers famous theme so had practiced his knack of getting that hook to draw you in to watch the show! This boxset may not have any extras like commentaries or behind the scenes footage but does not bother me, what it contains are the full 91 episodes over the course of 5 seasons on 21 DVDs and it is well worth the money. Look out for a young Sharon Stone, we have guest appearances by Dennis Franz who starred in NYPD Blue, Billy Drago who turns up in witchy drama charmed, Heather Thomas who starred in The Fall Guy another 80s classic and Leonard Nimoy who not only appears but also directs a couple of episodes as well. This boxset completed with all 5 seasons can only be imported from the US so make sure when buying you have a Multi-Region player as they are coded Region 1, all the discs work perfectly fine and is great to have to rewatch as many times as I like.

Always enjoyable to watch seeing episodes for the very first time with the complete series, a classic it is to the 80's what Adam 12 was to the 70's
