DEXCOM G6 Transmitter Kit

Why do I need to change it every once in a while because the battery runs out and the battery value is less than a dollar and it's more than $279This is an exploitation of patientsI used to recommend, but now I stopped because it's expensive and uselessWhy not charge the battery or I can replace it

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! My husband is a disabled veteran and gets all his care through the VA. His transmitter battery bit the dust just after the warranty period so Dexcom referred us back to the VA, His endocrinologist put in an order for a new transmitter plus upgraded his receiver but warned us it would "take a while". After almost 2 months of hearing nothing I decided to bite the bullet and buy this out of pocket. I figured we would "give it a try" and if all else fails, we would have a backup. My husband is not a type 2 like most veterans you see, he has only half a pancreas so I was getting desperate for something as he *really* needs a continuous glucose monitor and I just could not wait for the VA any longer. I am so glad that I did!Not only did I get the address to send it to as quickly as I was promised, the email again reminds you of what you are purchasing and offers a refund if you inadvertently purchased this by mistake (because yes you have to send him YOUR current transmitter to get the batteries replaced, and YES this is at your cost). I sent him my husband's transmitter ASAP, priority mail, packaged very carefully with a note about the situation, why we needed so desperately, etc etc.We already have the transmitter back, it was sent priority at no extra cost, it works amazing, and beyond that, there was an incredibly touching Thank You card included with a personal note that also thanked my husband for his service. I almost cried when I saw it. On a side note, we did get the receiver from the VA but apparently the person who ordered it for us/the endocrinologist 'forgot" to order the transmitter portion! So we are STILL waiting. We would be lost without this transmitter back from you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!THOUSAND THANK YOUS IS NOT ENOUGH! I intend to tell everyone I know with a dexcom CGM about you!!

Just to clarify what this is, you have to send hum your dead transmitter first. He will then replace the batteries, re-seal it, and send it back to you. The seller turned my G4 transmitter around in about two days. When it arrived, it looked like a brand new unit, minus the "Dexcom" logo on the top. It is still completely waterproof and fits on the sensor just like you would expect it to. I will definitely order from this seller again the next time my batteries die.

New insurance this year and I am still trying to get my supplier/order squared away....in February! Didn't want to do without my CGM so I decided to bite the bullet, pay out of pocket and buy this online. It is listed now at nearly $100.00 less than I paid so check the pricing. The transmitter arrived in just a few days and just in time. It's working well and saved me from having to go back to frequent finger sticks! Well worth it even at the higher price.

Wow, what exceptional service! I thought I was having issues with my new transmitter and emailed the company. Within the hour I had an immediate response from them. Come to find out it was user error! They were very nice and very informative. I will definitely be using them in the future.
