It takes time to get used with it.
As it fits only to mazda cx-30, the main problem is that hides your main entertainment screen. Powerful magnet and very sturdy.

Great idea, but not the best execution...made it work though!
Okay, so let me start by saying this...this is a great inexpensive option for mounting a phone in a CX-30! It doesn't block the vents very much and is in a convenient location. It also flows very well with the dash! There are two design issues though...it doesn't stay in place without some tinkering. The tabs that hook it on to the vent aren't long enough to grab firmly, so the adhesive does most of the work to keep it in place. The issue with the adhesive is it isn't very strong and isn't in the best spot on the mount. I took some 12lb rated double-sided 3m adhesive and put a strip where the mount meets the vent, and another along the top under the two tabs. This holds in place against the vent and dash, which seems like it should work out in the long run!

The magnet isn’t strong enough for magsafe
The magnet isn’t strong enough for magsafe and requires you to use the included metal card in between your phone and phone case. This would normally be fine except that the metal card interferes with MagSafe charging so you constantly have to remove it from your phone every time you want to charge or drive. The bracket is fantastic and fits my premium cx30 with zero issues, it’s just a shame that the magnets are too weak to function with MagSafe alone.

Good idea in theory, not compatible with American CX-30
I like the idea for this type of mount and if made well this could work great. It is similar to ProClip mounts in the way it mount but for the CX-30 this product has a much better placement than the ProClip. However this products fails in two ways. One, this product was clearly designed for a slightly different of the CX-30 than the 2022 US variant it simply doesn't fit and the mount is raised above the dash when wedged in when it should be resting on it and the double sided tape adhering to the dash. Two, the plastic is of the cheap sort and as I was maneuvering it the tabs broke off. Admittingly, this was because I was trying to get it to fit a car is wasn't properly designed for but I imagine this could be a problem even for the Asian CX-30.Note to manufacturer: Let us know if you redesign it for the American CX-30.

Did not fit 2022 Mazda cx-30 premium package
I bought this as I thought it would exactly fit the contour of the dash of our cx-30.Perhaps the specific trim of our dash may be different than what this was designed for but it did not fit exactly. You can see from the picture there is a good sized gap even when pushed in all the way in on top and bottom. I will look to return this
