High potency, high price
This is a tiny bottle but it packs a punch with 0.15% retinaldehyde, which is the most potent retinoid you can get without a prescription. Retinaldehyde converts directly to retinoic acid, the active form of vitamin A that works wonders on your skin. It helps smooth texture and blemishes, improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles, and brighten uneven skin tone. Most serums contain retinol, which has to go through two conversions before becoming retinoic acid. Even the highest concentrations of premium/luxury serums are lower than this serum’s retinaldehyde. But that’s not all. This serum also contains 5% niacinamide, which is another superstar ingredient that rebalances tone, refines pores, and reinforces skin’s barrier. Niacinamide also helps reduce inflammation and sensitivity, which is great for retinoid users. The serum is very hydrating and soothing, thanks to ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, and allantoin. It feels lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin.I’ve been using this serum for a few weeks and I’ve noticed a difference in the texture and brightness of my skin. My pores look smaller, my dark spots are fading, and my fine lines are less noticeable. My skin feels soft and plump, and I haven’t experienced any irritation or dryness. The only downside is the price. It’s quite expensive for such a small bottle, but I think it’s worth it for the quality and the results. Plus, you only need a few drops per application, so it lasts longer than you might think.Next time, I'll probably splurge for the 1oz bottle as its cheaper overall.

Friendly On My Rosacea/ Sensitive Skin, Non-Greasy, Absorbs Well
I have rosacea so I have to be very careful with what I use on my face and retinal is no exception but it can be less irritating than retinol. Retinal although similar to retinol works quicker and gives more powerful results than retinol because it converts to retinoic acid faster and can be more efficient. It's great for anti-aging benefits and boosting radiance. Retinoids can be more irritating so this is a great option because it also has niacinamide which is supposed to help rosacea, it's a good combination so I decided to give it a try.It doesn't have a scent, I couldn't smell anything, it's a creamy consistency and yellow in color. It absorbs into the skin well and doesn't leave a sticky or greasy feel and it smoothed onto my skin easily.I applied it at night after I washed my face and left it on until the next morning. Although non-irritating, everyone is different and I experienced itching in a few different areas of my face and neck even in the morning before I washed it off. I didn’t have that reaction the next time I used it and I haven't used it long enough to notice results and right now I'm using it 1-2 times a week.I love that this is Cruelty-Free and there are No parabens, phthalates, sulfates, dimethicone, or mineral oil.If you have rosacea or sensitive skin then use it with caution. Overall it's a great serum and I really like it.

Just okay
I haven't seen a noticeable difference in my skin since using this for a few weeks and the smell isn't great either. It's a nice small size, so I guess it's good for travel.

Improves glow and texture
This serum does a good job to give you a nice glow and helps with texture. You can feel your skin more smooth after just one use. If you're used to retinol products, then you know that smooth feeling that is always apparent after just a use or two. I use retinol day and night. I use rx tret regularly, too, so otc skin products like this don't usually impress me much, but for a serum this is pretty good. Great on the neck too.
