I bought it to measure the air going INTO my air ductwork (for AC and Heat). Looking to see what the difference is when the filter gets dirty. So far it’s working good. Read the same spot a few times and repeatable. Hopefully I’ll get data in a few months.

I’ve been using this to measure the inlet and outlet airspeeds on a ducted IT cooling system. The cheap price yet consistent results have made me very happy. What started as a throw away idea turned into a process this tool helps with almost daily.

instructions are very vague and unhelpful. I spent over an hour trying figure out how to locate the battery compartment and insert the battery in it's proper orientation. Too much trouble to bother returning.

Bought it to check the air flow in my motorhome , haven’t had the chance yet but tried it in the house, worked fine.

The air flow measurement seems to be very good. Easy to read, Not So Much. The backlight only stays on for a few seconds. If you are trying to get temp readings, that takes longer. You can keep hitting the Mode button but that's kind of annoying.The big problem, I had with it, is the Battery Compartment. Every time I put the case on it, the movement would dislodge the battery. I ended up putting a small piece of folded up paper to keep the battery firmly in place. But that is something the manufacture should have thought about and corrected.
