These Tack shanks have a 4.5mm head on a 8mm long shank. something with a 10mm head on a 8-10mm shank might work better, as most felt is 2-3mm thick. this is dependent on the backer material you use of course... **Q: Do these tacks leave holes in the fabric once they're removed?
