Either the other reviewers got a different brush than I did or they are being less than forthright about their experiences with this brush. I tried it on my hair the day after I washed it and also a few days after I washed it. Both times, it made my hair "fly-away" and flattened it down on my head (in other words, whether it was a tiny bit dirty or I really needed to shampoo, it had the same effect). Ordinarily, I never have "fly away" hair and my hair has good volume- it's doesn't lie flattened on my head!This brush most certainly did NOT clean my hair in any way whatsoever.Proceed at your own risk! Others apparently found it very helpful, whereas I had the opposite experience (and I tend to think the other reviewers were being honest as none "received the brush for free in exchange for their 'honest' opinion".

The handle is ergonomic, the rubber cushion makes the bristles conformable to your head when using, but after a short while, the copper-colored bristles acquire an oily film that is hard to clean off, and that turns green. The bristles have a little ball on the end that makes them comfortable on the scalp, but the green gook on the bristles is a turn-off. I'm not sure why one of the questions relates to drying power - it's a brush, not a towel or hair dryer.

My husband and I absolutely love this brush! It is high quality and has made such a difference in our hair for both of us. I especially after going through chemo treatments have had scalp and hair growth issues and I can honestly say I've seen quite an improvement on both since the start of using this brush. I would definitely recommend we are already planning to buy more juat on case Amazon were to stop selling it!

My beloved 20 year old Golden Duck Copper Brush with MOP handle finally separated. I tried to glue it together but the soft rubber just wouldn't hold. I looked for another like it to no avail. I've tried those Wet Brushes and the cushion backing is way to stiff for my thin brittle hair. I've tried others as well but all the cushions are too stiff. This brush has a softer backing than any one I've tried. It seems to be fairly close to my old hair brush. Soft cushion with copper bristles. I'm hopeful!

I reallyyyyyyyyy wanted to like this brush because i have such terrible luck with the Denmen. I have 3c/4a natural hair and this brush could not hack it. I thought all was well and good until i looked at the floor of my shower and there were cooper needles EVERYWHERE.Forever on the search for a quality brush for natural hair.

I have shoulder length, very thick and fine hair. I section my hair from the bottom up & brush straight down to the ends and then under the section from scalp to ends again. My years of itchy scalp are gone. I do have increased shine. It does make my hair frizz out or a little bushy but I just run my hands through it and done!

I bought this hairbrush a few months ago and loved it so I wanted to buy another one for my “purse brush”. I’m not sure what happened but this hairbrush is unusable.Oops! I do get a bit testy around the holidays. My son actually fixed the hairbrush by pulling on the bristles which, I didn’t do. 🤦🏻‍♀️

What is strange is that I lose NO hair brushing with this...it's easy to clean and it makes my scalp feel great and my hair silky soft...and it's good for the scalp due to the copper. We can call use a little more copper in our lives-and in our hair. I have a pure copper comb that I now use with it (no hair loss with that either! Metal...go figure).
