After lots of research, the Arlo system ticked all the boxes and have to say not disappointed. Very easy to install (also bought the wired bell) and easy to use. Good battery life, great picture, and good support from Arlo ( needed some help wiring bell)

I’ve had Arlo cameras for over 10 years. Since the latest update to UX4, the system is almost unusable. The Go 2 camera is permanently armed unless you manually disarm every day. I’ve spoken with Arlo support and they have no fix and it’s been this way for nearly a year now. As for the camera its self, the battery drains so fast, faster than the solar panel can top it back up! I bought a second battery as I thought the first one was faulty which it was not. It’s a shame Netgear had to get greedy with their pricing and also update thier system as it worked just fine. I’m slowly changing my cameras over to Reolink. The Reolink 4g ptz it’s SO much better than the go 2.

The camera so far works well. That said, the front camera due to high trigger rate, battery needs charging quite frequently.

SD card support is misleading, yes you can record to SD card but you need to remove the SD card from the device to view footage. no way to know if it has recorded anything without doing this, otherwise like most other cameras on the market you have to pay an monthly or annual subscription to make it worth while and view videos from the cloud.

Not the cheapest but you pay for quality. Highly rated by us. Super easy to install and set up so dont worry about that! recommended

I have used many different cameras in the past including the older Arlo Go with no problem. But this new version just doesn't communicate using the mobile network unless it is right next to and within sight of the mobile mast. I've wanted to replace the older Arlo Go camera with this new version because of a tired battery and the new camera just doesn't work. 2 different Arlo Go 2 cameras were fitted without success, put the original camera back up and worked fine. Have now replaced it with a Reolink not by choice but because Arlo have released a product that isn't fit for purpose.

This is an excellent piece of kit. ‘Why?’ may you ask. It’s all about the battery which lasts for weeks on end. Being USB rechargeable is great because you can install these cameras wherever you like, without having to run cables. Of course, on the flip side, when they do eventually need recharging, you have to retrieve them to plug them in, but at least you don’t have to do this very often. Arlo cameras appear to rely on a user subscription service to subsidise the quality of the units, which is extremely high. The footage that the cameras capture is very good along with pretty good audio. The subscription isn’t compulsory but you do need this in order to record and retrieve any footage taken, as well as setting intruder alerts or what they call ‘armed systems’. We began testing this without subscribing to monitor our chicken coop and are really pleased with the results. Set up is easy - download the Arlo app and go through the step-by-step setup. Once the cameras are connected you your WIFI, you’re ready to to go. We haven’t yet looked into any of the advanced subscription features, but will come back and update this review after testing those features as well. It does come with a three month free trial which is great. To help you in this review so far, I’ve attached some screen-recorded footage to give an idea of the image quality.

Tengo otras camaras arlo. En esta no se puede grabar por detección de audio, ni de forma manual, solo por movimiento. Un gran fallo en el diseño es que el almacenamiento de las grabaciones en la sd no se pueden ver desde la camara, tienes que desmontar la sd y verlo en una computadora (lo pueden verificar en la página de arlo) lo cual creo es inservible. En México no lo recomiendo ya qué no puedes pagar el almacenamiento en la nube.

Las compre hace 3 meses y ayer cargue de nuevo las camaras. La primera tenia la bateria agotada por un uso un poco mas intenso por el tema detectar movimientos y la otra tenia 55% de bateria estava a media carga despues de 3 meses lo unico que apenas tenia gasto porque no hay movimiento ni nigun tipo de consumo de bateria. Al respeto si no te apetece cargarlas 4-5 veces al año te compras cable adicional lo montas y tienes carga de la red para siempre. Bueno respeto grabacion deteccion de movimiento es brutal las recomiendo porque antes de montar las Arlo Pro4 tenia unas camaras simples que no tenian la misma calidad ni de noche ni de dia las de arlo las superan en creces. He comprado el HuB de Arlo tambien, despues de los 3 meses de prueba aver si puedo hacer mis grabaciones en el Hub sin tener que pagar alguna cuota tal como indican la marca sobre el hub.

Di certo non costa poco, ma ha tutte le caratteristiche per renderla una scelta definitiva. Batteria molto capiente che dura tantissimo. Visione wide che prende un area molto grande. Visione notturna perfetta. Software di riconoscimento persone, animali e veicoli con relativa notifica sul telefono e con piccoli clip appositamente creati: perfetto, riconosce tutto e funziona sempre, becca anche un buon audio. App molto stabile e facile da usare. Ci puoi mettere una SIM per collegarsi direttamente a internet se non hai il wifi o se la connessione ad internet cade, quindi a prova di guasti o sabotaggi. L'intelligenza artificiale e il salvataggio dello storico in cloud per un mese costa solo 2,99 euro. Se non riesce a collegarsi a internet puoi comunque metterci una scheda di memoria e salva li. Per finire, se ci metti il pannellino solare, si ricarica da sola per sempre ed è praticamente una entità totalmente indipendente da qualsiasi collegamento (se ci metti la sim) e a funzionamento perpetuo. Forse unica pecca è che non ha lo zoom ottico. Comunque un gioiellino davvero.
