Quality collar
This is small for my Dobie so she doesn’t mind it but it still offers me some control.I love the fastener. It is so much more convenient than trying to remove the link.

Great option for prong collars
Great option for easy on and off of Herm Sprenger prong collars. Our larger prong collar is easier to squeeze to remove and secure prongs, but trying a collar with a smaller prong length, the prongs were near impossible to squeeze to remove or secure. My fingers were numb! Replaced some prongs with this and now it's so easy to get the collar on and off. Push button and slide cover are great and makes collar feel very secure.

Heavy duty and makes it a breeze to put on and take off
Easy to use and very well made. Makes putting the prong collar on and off much easier. Great price too

Easy to install and easy to use.
Yes, it works great, easy to install, and is easy to use. I am conducting pet training, easy to install on a dog training collar. Our pet likes the ease of putting the collar on him for training. It is so much easier and quicker with the quick connect on the training collar than fumbling around with the collar by itself.

Makes it easier to use the prong collar
I was able to look up the order for my dog's Herm Sprenger collar (purchased in 2021) to figure out what size I needed. The 3mm buckle works well on the 3mm collar. I assume the measurement relates to the diameter of the metal, which isn't the easiest to measure without calipers. I removed the center plate and one link, and it was a perfect match in length. As the number of links on her collar were odd, it actually helped balance the collar. I have decent hand strength for a middle-aged woman, but found it challenging to use the links on an excited dog. The buckle makes it so that my 83 year old parents with arthritis might be able to put the collar on and off without a struggle. As for the cover coming off when it is unbuckled, there is a trick that isn't obvious. One end of the slider has a little bump on the underside. That end (the skinny end) should be closest to the links when unbuckled. If you push it all the way to the links, you will feel it catch, and that will hold the slider in place, even with the collar hanging on a hook.We also use a "safety clip" from the collar ring to her flat collar, just in case something goes awry. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JQ3WYXC?th=1

A Must Have (if you didn't buy the collar with one)
Bought the prong collar without the easy-release clasp because videos made it seem easy to take on and off. With my puppy squirming around and a current injury to a finger, I needed this clasp. It was easy to add to the prong collar to the links. It is a bit clunky for the 2.25 links and the short length of my puppy's prong collar. Yet, that is minor as he'll grow. Very happy for my fingers that the clasp makes easy work on putting the collar on and taking it off. Others have mentioned that the slide moves around, but the one I have slides smoothly back and forth, as well as holds in place. Very secure...I don't worry about it coming undone while on my puppy.

Wow! So easy!
Highly recommend!! I hadn’t used a pronged collar before but the Herm Sprenger was what our trainer suggested for our gsd puppy. Getting that on and off was tricky. I found this product & ordered it, hoping to find an easier way. This arrived very quickly. I was able to attach it to the collar easily (removing a few prongs to adjust for the length of the clasp). Now getting the collar on and off is done in a snap! Bonus is that the small weight of the clasp helps keep the collar centered on her neck correctly. Without this clasp, the collar would slide a little and I’d have to try to adjust it without pulling on it.
