I recently purchased Basenor windshield sunshade and it has exceeded my expectations. This fits well. Has done very well daily usage in cooling off the cars interior and covers almost 100% of the dash and windshield area. Owned for over 1.5 years and its still going strong. Easy to install and store. May take a moment to get used to how to twist it back to get that circular shape again to put in the case but a bit of practice and you will get it.

The Basenor Tesla Model Y-3 Windshield Sunshade has been a fantastic addition, especially on hot summer days. It does a great job of blocking heat from building up inside my car when it’s parked in the sun. Installation is always super easy, and the sunshade fits the windshield perfectly. It’s lightweight, feels well-made, and the value for the money is excellent. I also love the Velcro strap around the rear-view mirror—it keeps the shade securely in place every time. I actually bought this a few years ago for my 2022 Tesla Model 3 and it still fits my new 2025 Tesla Model 3 Highland. 10/10 Recommend if you are in the market for a Sunshade for your new Tesla!

So if you want a windshield shade, like I did, this isn’t bad. It does reduce the temps overall, especially the heat on the seats and likely on the screen (I haven’t compared it to other products, it’s the only one I own, and I haven’t done much in terms of studying the temperatures). **It works, it fits a Model 3** . Other than a very small area (where it attaches around the mirror) it blocks the entire windshield, as well. It’s very easy to put up, you just use the visors and a Velcro strap it has to secure it. The size of it can be annoying when putting it up, as you have to squeeze it into the car through the door, rubbing it into random spots on your interior and what not. It’s not an issue if you take your time, but doing it every day it can be annoying I guess. I suppose that’s normal though, what else would I expect? It’s a big sunscreen, of course you have to fit it into the car. The main thing I want to stress is that you shouldn’t buy this just because it comes in a little bag and looks easy to store. Right now mine is sitting in my trunk, as always, folded in half and not in the bag, taking up space (not much space, it’s flat and light, the only annoying thing is that it sits over the bottom storage area hatch). While I’ve gotten very close to folding it back up, I can’t get it quite small enough for the bag. That said I haven’t looked it up (how to fold it), and didn’t pay attention when first opening it; namely, a smarter person may be able to handle it. For me? I have given up on the folding, maybe one day I’ll look it up or try it again. It doesn’t come with any clues. It basically works by having a springy metallic frame inside that can be folded and twisted into a small circle when done correctly, I just can’t quite get it perfect enough to fit. So, basically I recommend it as a sun shade, but I wouldn’t buy it solely for the small footprint, unless you’re much thriftier than I am or pay more attention to the details when you unwrap it initially. Most likely it’ll end up folded in half in your trunk, but it will work just fine for it’s intended purpose and it’s cheap.

This is an extremely high quality product. The price is quite a bargain considering the quality of materials, the thickness of materials, and the very durable stitching. it is no fault to the product, but i am also shopping for an umbrella style windshield sun shade by this same company, and i will decide if i have a preference for one design, over the other. if you are specifically shopping for a very high quality fold up windshield sun shade, this model is extremely high quality. if i were to give this a value price rating, i would rate this at the very highest score. great work in every way. and a perfect fit, with extreme precision, in every way; for the 2017 tesla model 3, long range with rear wheel drive.

I bought this sunshade for my Tesla and it has been a game changer. The fit is precise—it covers the windshield edge to edge without leaving gaps, and it’s super easy to put up and take down. This sunshade fits my Model Y perfectly. It arrived timely, in a great pouch with clear instructions. It only took me a few minutes to install. As you can see, there are no holes leaking sunlight and no sag in the design. Tesla software provides the option to turn on the climate control automatically if the interior temperature reaches 100. This does use up battery so this is also a money saver! This is a must for cars that live outside! I will leave it in place in July & August and remove it in September. It folds up and stores nicely, too! It's obvious that there has been a lot of thought behind this product. Very light weight and durable. Compared other screens in Amazon. Glad i purchased feom Basenor. Highly recommended! Another great product from Basenor. Awesome.

It fit well, but I just wasn't a huge fan of the size compared to other ones that felt more tailor made for my 2023 Model Y. Putting it up and taking it down was not difficult, but big enough where it was a bit more annoying than other options. I use the Haloblk model and it works pretty well, though all of them seem kind of annoying to use.
