The yellow color definitely makes them pop out from a lot of other brushes; the color was my main attraction to these initially. The 12 piece eye kit is so useful and gives you the essentials and even a little extra. I did not buy the 24 piece because I already have A LOT of brushes, and I saw these in a video and the color just screamed for me to get these yellow brush handles—it was a splurge really. The quality of the bristles are amazing, they are sturdy, they are fluffy and they are precise. I personally did not experience any fallout when washing them, or using them. Ever since I bought them, I converted these into my regulars and use them very frequently—ALL THE TIME. I’m so impressed with the quality of these brushes that I will be looking forward to getting more in their different shades and material (Bambu, SFX, Maestro) to start a collection! I already have a collection of the Green Bambu brushes and I can't say enough good things about them. However, I'm starting an professional kit and I needed something affordable to get me started. This is definitely a great value for the money. Out of the box a few of these were scratchy but after washing them with both shampoo AND conditioner, they are good to go and perform beautifully. (All makeup brushes perform better after they are washed, and natural bristles become softer after using conditioner.) The only brush missing from this set is a medium sized eyeshadow brush. I'd go ahead and buy it but the international shipping rates are outrageous. Other than that, they are absolutely lovely and I'm grateful they are cruelty free.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these brushes! The BEST brush set for contouring, blending, and shaping any eye product. The perfect dimension to whatever eye application and the right stiffness/softness for blending! The handles are the perfect length and feel for manipulating the brushes. The case is the best in the market, and I own several to compare. Very professional looking and the material is solid. I own high end brush sets from MAC, Chanel and Trish McEvoy; and BDellium brushes hold up very well to the standard, if not better! Amazing discovery! I bought more BDellium face brushes since then. I've been using these brushes daily now! Worth every application!

I seem to be writing a variety of reviews on obscure products tonight. But I'm on a roll, so here's this one. I bought these brushes about six months ago and for the most part, they're great! I must admit that there's several that I haven't used, and I haven't yet figured out the utility of the white bristle nylon brushes, but nevertheless the ones I've used are fabulous. They're all great quality brushes and I particularly like the larger angled brush for applying a color in the crease, as well as the two that I've used for my "eye liner," the large brush that I use for my main color and the highlighting brush. If you use multiple brushes, this is the set to get. I have a friend that's really into makeup, as she was a model when she was younger, and she's taught me several tricks of the trade over the years. The one I like the best is my "eye liner" trick. I use the dark eye shadow colors as eyeliner - by mixing them with water. Here's a few of my tricks. I buy a few specific Lancome products - mascara, Clis - the white pre-mascara thickener, and the creme foundation. Most of the time I wait until they have their "purchase with purchase" or "free with purchase" specials, and then get the free products. I always use Lancome eye shadows, but rarely buy them, because I can get so many colors for "free" (well not really, because I'm buying the makeup, which isn't exactly inexpensive, but is reasonable, when I can get the other free stuff while making my regular purchase). So I've always got more eye shadow than I can possibly use and their colors are better on me than the usual stuff that I would buy. I use the darker colors as eye liner, and it makes a great line when mixed with water. Sometimes I even combine colors to get the shade I want. So, if you're looking for great eye makeup brushes, buy these. You won't be sorry.

I am in love with these tools! I've had them for over a year now, and they are the first tools to truly hold up to daily use. My makeup routine has become so easy since making this purchase. The brushes are soft but sturdy and make application of my eye shadow and brow makeup a breeze. Highly recommend these brushes!

I have been wanting a dedicated set of just eye brushes and this set fit the bill for me. It comes with every type of brush you could need to do any eye look. There is also a brow brush and a spoolie, which I liked. I currently own the green bamboo Bdellium Tools smokey eye brush set and I LOVE that set. I have been using it for years. The bristles are soft and they have held up like a dream after many washes. I figured this set would be much of the same. I am a little puzzled so far. The bristles on these brushes are not soft. Period. I am not comparing them to my other set of Bd brushes, but to all other brushes I have used. The bristles are uneven on many of the brushes too. There are at least a few stray bristles that are longer than the others on all the brushes I have used so far. None of my green Bd brushes had that issue. I should also mention that I haven't used the largest 3 brushes in this set to create an actual makeup look yet. I have equivalent brushes so I haven't gotten around to trying them. I have used the smaller brushes for shading, liner, and undereye shadow application. The liner brush is fine. But the other small brushes are so dang scratchy. These brushes were so different from my Bd green bamboo set that I even checked the packaging and logo to see if they were counterfeit. It doesn't appear that they are. I don't know why the yellow line would be so different from the green bamboo set, but the quality is quite different. Overall, the brushes serve their purpose and the price was decent considering you get 12 brushes and a travel case. I can't find another set that has the same variety of brushes for a similar cost so I will be keeping them. I hope they at least have the longevity of the Bd green bamboo brushes I currently own!

These brushes are awesome...I watched many reviews on YouTube before purchasing them. This set has every eye brush you'll ever really need. I also purchased an extra blending brush I believe the 785 brush just after receiving this set.
