The good stuff
So incredibly lightweight and easy to use. Absolutely worth it. Adjusts to my height at 5:6 fairly well. I would say this is the best paddle, the quality feels amazing. It's pukka lightweight carbon fiber. Whenever I talk to my friends and try their paddles. This is the lightest one.Breaks into 3 parts so it's easy to transport. I'm very happy with it.

Worked well for a while
Then the top plastic clasp broke and now can't be closed Help. Can it be replaced? I think this is too expensive to just throw away. Great paddle when it worked. Anyone know if the parts can be bought and replaced? I hope the company sees this and replaces the clasp with something stronger. probably full aluminum would be better than the plastic.*Update*.I was able to go to the company's store and buy a clasp but I would prefer that in the future they sold aluminum clasps or a material that won't break.

Appears to be made well, but . . .
Unlike my Epic kayak paddle — this is a fixed length. There is no way to change the length or angle once the auxiliary paddle part is inserted. On the other hand — the main Thurso SUP paddle is adjustable. It appears lightweight and sturdy.

Fairly priced, high quality, light
Love this paddle. My second carbon fiber. Specs say 27oz but it weighs in at a hair below 25! Very slight flex when paddling hard, but nothing that robs power or feels flimsy. Nice click-ball and clamp at the paddle end with no play. Clamp-only on the handle end, but there is no twist. I have chunked this into the rocky bottom a couple of times with no scratches. I emailed the merchant twice with questions before buying and got next-day responses each time. Handle felt I little fat when I first used it but got over that almost immediately- might be an issue if you have small hands. I did have to buy a paddle bag from another merchant to go with it, but that's the way it was sold - no surprises. I feel confident with this purchase and highly recommend.

Not worth the $$.
I'm an avid paddleboarder and kayaker and jumped at the chance to review this paddle, as a result. I was kind of shocked to see that it only came with the SUP paddle and that you have to purchase another paddle to do the conversion for kayaking. For the $$, it really should come with all the things. That being said, it tracks fine with the SUP, is convertible for the sup, is light, is strong, it floats... but in comparison with a $40 3-piece carbon fiber paddle from another brand, I see no difference in performance. In short, it's just not worth the price tag.

One of the best SUP Carbon Paddles that I own!
The media could not be loaded. This is the best paddle that I have ever seen, used, or owned as of today! This paddle is not only light, but it's also strong and the fit and finish is flawless. Anybody that is on the water a lot will tell you that the best paddles available are the carbon fiber ones. The pushing power that you get from this paddle is insane. To say that I love this SUP paddle is an understatement! There are three pieces that fit solidly together, and the marker pole stays in place. This carbon fiber paddle has a double lock installation system with no rattling, twisting, or movement. It is so well built that it acts like one solid piece. I love that the paddle does break down into 3 pieces because it makes for easy carrying and storage. It would have been nice if they would have included a carrying case, but that's not a make or break deal for me.This carbon paddle feels great in your hands, and there aren't any rough or sharp edges at the seams. The carbon fiber shaft only weighs 25 ounces, which is 708 grams, and it actually does float. It can easily be adjusted from 71" to 87". If you have a kayak that you want to use it with they give you the option of purchasing another blade. We may actually buy it because we do have several kayaks and I would love to use it with them as well.I love the look, the feel, and the portability of it! The angle of this paddle is incredible! I have never felt such easy and perfect cutting through the water as I have with this paddle. It takes all the work out of paddling and brings back the fun! I highly recommend this paddle!

Paddles and travels great
For 3 piece, it is light, stiff, and easy to assemble. The top handle is a bit chunky and without a guide, you have to get it aligned to the paddle blade yourself. A groove would be a good add.

Decent paddle but better options out there
Decent paddle, but not the best for 200. They key flaws are a undersized blade, and the fact that handle is not shaped to your hand like most others. There are other superior paddles in the 150 dollar range so I can't recommend this one.
