A showstopper gift. A conversation starter! Love it
Such a blast. Such a great gift. Rechargeable and it is a show stopper/conversation starter. A great way to play frisbee, especially at night. Love it

Sturdy and bright frisby!
Looks great and glows brightly! I love that it's rechargeable and isn't complicated to use. It works well and is a dream to fly. My dog even chewed it up a bit and it seems tough. I'm not a pro so I can't speak to the weight but it feels solid, not in a bad way.

This item works good, it should be cheaper for what it really is, but the kids love playing with it.
It came with a dead battery, did not include a charging cable. Once charged there was no instructions on how to change the sequence of the lights, like this many pushes to get the light to change constantly. It seems to be pretty "water proof" my kids were playing with it in the pool and constantly dunking it under water despite telling them not to. It flies like a normal disk. A tad expensive but it works good.

Feels most like 175g Discraft Ultra-Star
I play ultimate frisbee with the usual 175g Discraft Ultra-Star. I was looking for a light-up disc that felt as close to that as possible. I didn't care much about the number of colors or brightness...solid red is best for playing in the dark. I compared 4 discs (in the photos going clockwise from the top left): the Nite Ize Flashflight, Tosy RGB Flying Disc, Fortikpo Glow in the Dark LED Disc, and the Tomleon Startrail LED Flying Disc. The Tomleon was a non-starter as its diameter is significantly smaller than the Discraft. The Fortikpo felt center-heavy and the material felt soft and thin. It's a toss-up between the TOSY and Nite Ize Flashflight. Both weigh about175g. The TOSY feels just a little bit stiffer than a Discraft, and the profile (when viewed from the edge) doesn't have the smooth curve of the Discraft and Nite Ize, but your fingers don't touch the area with the slight bevel anyway. The TOSY is much brighter and has far more colors and programmed patterns than the Nite Ize. But it is ever so slightly more center-weighted than the Nite Ize. The Nite Ize just feels more like a Discraft, except for the 8 radial ridges that extend from the center to the edge. The underside is therefore not smooth like a Discraft (or the TOSY). That feeling of touching ridges on the underside is something some people get used to and others don't like. A minor plus for the TOSY is that it uses the more modern USB-C charger, whereas the Nite Ize uses the old micro USB. The TOSY's electronics are securely sealed, whereas the Nite Ize requires you to lift off a protective silicone seal to charge the LED unit, which is removable. The Nite Ize also remembers the last color setting you used. I'm keeping the Nite Ize simply because it feels more like a Discraft, but the TOSY is a very close second.

Great for playing in the dark
I have a handful of friends that gather three times a week at 5:30 am to work out. We use this disc throughout the winter. We prefer a standard ultimate disc, but this one does the trick when it’s dark out.

They changed....
I have bought several of these over the years. They fly great for a light up frisbee, BUT they changed the design for the worst. The center hub where the light comes from is removable, not a great idea. It was lost the fist day we used it. User error? Maybe, we had kids playing with it but the new design kinda sets you up for failure.
