Literal Game Changer
This product is great, it has improved my Pokemon Go experience immensely. I’ve had it nearly a year now.It was easy enough to set up (I have an iPhone). Disconnects occasionally, but it’s easy to reconnect. You do have to reconnect if you close the app or it crashes.Works well for catching and spinning stops while driving, catching a lot of Pokemon quickly during events like comm days and GOfest. It’s gotten me shinies effortlessly.Battery life is good for me. I try to switch it off when not in use, but even when I forget or use it a lot, a set of 2 AAA batteries lasts at least a couple weeks, and I’ve just been using cheap off brand batteries for it.Seems like you have to stay pretty close to the device for it to stay connected, but that’s not a problem. It fits easily in a bag or even most pants pockets. The lights are fine with me, they don’t bother me, and I’ve usually got this tucked away somewhere so I don’t notice them much. The sounds it makes do annoy me though, and have startled some of my friends. Even when I’ve got the sound off, if you push either of the buttons, which is extremely easy to do by accident, this thing talks to you in a robot voice. I wish there was a way for the sound to be completely off. The fact that it talks so much is the worst feature about this product.Overall though, that’s a minor thing. It’s still a great gadget that I use almost every day, and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who plays Pokemon Go. I feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth many times over on this product.

Stable connection - great upgrade from Gotcha
As an owner of the original Gotcha, a Gotcha Evolve and a Gotcha Classic, all with various disconnection issues, poor battery life and extremely awkward charging methods, the Duomon has been great so far.I've tested this device for a total of five hours of play; and it has stayed connected the entire time, only dropping once per hour for the system-mandated reconnect. Not having to touch the button on the device is very convenient. In comparison, my Gotcha Classic purchased in January 2022 had a battery life of less than two hours on one full charge, and that second hour was typically plagued by disconnects or my phone not being able to find the device at all. Even on a full charge, the Gotcha would 'idle' with the spinning connecting icon for up to 15 seconds, then fail to connect repeatedly; this device pairs and connects within five seconds each time.Autocatch/spin speeds seem to be similar to the Gotcha while stationary, however I haven't tried using the device while travelling at speed. While the AAA battery use is a little annoying, the convenience is excellent; no more having to tear a wrist strap off and deal with an awkward one-way USB connection (Evolve) or barely-magnetized clip (Classic). The device is also quite bulky relative to the Gotcha watch bands, however this issue is largely eliminated given that you simply need to switch the device on and then interact with the app alone to connect and reconnect - just stash it in your bag or pocket and forget about it. This also has the benefit of preventing sweat or rain from interfering with the device, and means you can avoid the over-sensitive touch capacitance issues of the Gotcha Classic screen (often randomly activating when wearing capacitive clothing e.g. a leather jacket). Not sure about how long it will take to drain batteries, but so far (5 hours in) no issues re: battery life.If you're using a Gotcha and plagued with connection drop-outs, a failure to connect or poor battery life, this is certainly an upgrade worth considering (alongside some rechargeable batteries or an unwatched office stationery cabinet...). After endless troubleshooting of my Gotcha Classic, having a device that works consistently and without fuss has been excellent. If I can, I'll update this review in several months with some more long-term usage reports.

Decent
Works well except it disconnects at least once an hour, sometimes more than that.

Awesome product!
This is my first auto catcher. I can tell though it’s top notch and does an awesome job!Pros:I just used it for the first time during Spotlight hour and it caught around 300 Pokémon’s during that time. I just rode around and let it do its thing. It focuses on catching first and then it will spin poke stops and gyms. After a couple hours of use I have caught 3 shiny’s with it!! One while just chilling at the house! I’ve seen another review about the durability being an issue, however, this seems very durable to me and well made.Cons:The only negative I can find is it will auto disconnect after 1 hour. I wished it gave you the option to allow it to stay connected.

It works well!
Very happy! Took for a spin to GoFest Seattle. Ended up with 19 new shinies just walking. It got more than 700 mons caught and 450 stops\gyms spun. Most of the boring Fest tasks (like catch this amount or type etc.) completed by device. No issues with connection to both mine and friends phones. Friend did both auto and manual catching and got six more shinies.Just to give someone an idea why this is a great device, while lot of folks spent time in Seattle glued to their phones we really enjoyed decorations, watching other players and views. Some hints:- PoGo app will disconnect device every 60 minutes. Not a fault or a bug!- PoGo app only allow devices (any) to use red balls so pile up (100 or even more for events). One way to do that is to stop auto catching and just walk around stops and gyms.- Mons are preferred over stops! If there are mons and a stops around, device will try to catch all mons first. During the events with lots of mons, spin stops\gyms manually. It is literally a better, safer way to play and enjoy your walk! But expensive :).

Great device, worth the price
Prefer this over all the other cheaper options, it's way less hassle, more dependable, faster even, and certainly durable. The same product produces a puck shaped device, I have not compared the two. However, I've tried just about all the cheapo options, and the egg is the way to go
