Perfect
This product goes on so smoothly and doesn’t have a strong scent. It’s perfect for shaping my shag hair cut

Leaves Dandruff Looking Residue
This product smells nice and does give my hair a nice messy look. This product does leave tiny white spots all over my hair, it makes my hair look like I have dandruff and even falls onto my shoulders. I typically use about a fingertip of paste and rub it between my palms, then I gently scrunch it into my dry hair. Honestly for the price of the paste I would not purchase this again. The left over residue left in my hair is too much of a pain to constantly have to pull out every little white piece.

Easy to apply
This EVO - The Shag Beach Paste gives you that nice beachy look that doesn’t look overly greasy like others I have used in the past. I got this for my son who insists on having longer hair but never wants to actually style it. And so far it has been working out pretty well for him. It’s easy to use and only takes a minute to grab a dab and apply to his hair, Which is a must for him. And it’s not overly complicated to wash out either, which is another thing we have had trouble with in the past with these types of pastes. Overall not bad!

Definitely a learning curve with this one!
This is an interesting product. I am so used to thick, sticky pomades. So when I used this the first time I was surprised by its drier texture. This is definitely matte! It's really great for those with oily hair.I did find that it was somewhat complicated to use. Getting it out of the container was NOT easy. This is a SOLID paste. So just beware that you won't be able to use this like a typical pomade or styling gel.

love this for shorter shag
I really like this shag paste. I have a shorter shag haircut, about chin length. Normally, when I use styling products, it weighs my hair down and makes it look greasy. This did not. It actually gave my hair lift, volume and texture. It did not wear my hair down or make it look greasy. It has a really nice finish to it. This is worth every penny. I would definitely buy this again

Smells like watermelon bubble gum!
This texturizing paste works well for me, but I found it has a bit of a learning curve. I think it's probably a bit more straightforward for shorter styles, but my hair is naturally wavy and pretty long. I had the best results by putting some on my fingers and applying it to some of my wave clumps by running my fingers over them gently. The result was a casual, beachy style and the hold was great. It also takes some trial and error to work with a product like this, as it's quite hard right out of the jar. I warmed it in my hands and added a tiny bit of water. It smells *amazing.* I recognized the scent immediately as being very, very similar to the watermelon bubblegum I loved when I was a kid. So that's fun.I really like this product. I think it's versatile enough to work with different hair textures and styles. Highly recommend.

No hold
They say it is no hold so I shouldn't be surprised, but this is the equivalent of nothing in your hair.

Perfect for beach hair!
I have long hair, and love the beachy look. I do NOT love how salt sprays dry out and wreak havoc on my hair. This gives the same effect, buy it's soft instead of "crusty." I get the casual "piecy" look, without feeling like a have a head of straw. It's quite pricey, so I took off a star, but for occasional use, I can make it last.
