Just vibrated no suction
UPDATE!!! so You need to let the pump run for a little while with hoses clamped so it gets the air out of the milking chamber. Make sure the teat is in and close to the utter then unclamp suction will begin!Well right now a two star because I do like it's compact style! But, it didn't work.... all my tubes were hooked up correctly. I charged it overnight and when I got to milk there was no suction even with suction all the way up it just vibrated. Looking for some technical support. ~jc

Long-lasting power
I bought this particular machine because I needed to milk in an area with no electricity so decided to try a battery-operated one. I was pleasantly surprised by the power and longevity this machine has! It has more than enough power to milk my goats and goes about a month without needing a charge. The tubing is very well-marked, as well as the corresponding ports they each attach to. The stainless steel bucket has a lid with a very snug fit and easy to close latches. I expect to use this machine for years to come.

Complete piece of junk, and total waste of money
I would leave zero stars if I could. This milker will last you 4 months, tops. Once this milker gets too many negative reivews, the sellers creates another listing under another company name. I have ordered 3 from 3 different companies, and the milker is identical, right down to the instructions. The motor/suction has failed in every single one. In the last one I purchased, I made it a point to unhook the tubing after every use to prevent condensate from getting into the motor; it made no difference. It's cheap, and in this case you are definitely getting what you pay for.

Excellent Product
I'm glad I waited to write this review as I just now need a replacement part for it after 1.5 years of daily use on 1-3 goats every day, and it has been great. The only reason I even need another vacuum box now is because my dogs damaged it, not because it stopped working on its own.Top points:- Great suction at varied speeds- Fairly easily to clean using the items that came with it and soaking daily after use- The only time I've had suction issues is when there was a small crack or puncture in the line that was easily taped over or cut off (since it's almost always in the last inch or so)- Before the dogs I have dropped this thing a hundred times, it's been left in the rain, and we've hooked it up the wrong way and pumped it full of milk, for it to come back strong every time.I'm speaking with the company now about a replacement pump, but even if they can't deliver, I'll buy another one. I'm just hopeful I can save a few bucks.

Good for Nigerian Dwarf Goats
I've used this pump to milk one Nigerian Dwarf Goat once a day since April of this year. The cups fit her teats well. One teat is small and the other is blown and therefore larger. It's strong enough that I use the power at less that half and have only had to charge the unit twice in the last two months. The only problem was that the pump began to lose suction strength a few days ago. I contacted customer service via email and they promptly replied and offered a replacement pump. Beyond that issue, we have been happy with the product.

Easy set up and simple to use
Easy to set up and simple to use. Super easy to clean. This has been game changer for milking our goats.

Difficult to clean
The instructions were sparse (but entertaining if you know 10 languages and want to read every permutation). Just follow the diagram. I suppose it's pretty easy, but...It's hard to remove the tubes and cleaning them would be a pain. And you'd have to clean these tube every day. Wouldn't it just be easier to milk by hand then?I found that the suction cups did not stay on my goat's teats. There was just not enough suction to do the job. Nor were they effective as compared to milking by hand.In fairness, my girl just doesn't like being milked and doesn't produce that much. She's not all that fond of nursing, in general. Not a good mother, I think. And not a big milk producer. So this was a bust for me. But if I ever get a milker again, I'll give it a try. In the meantime, this device is going to sit in the closet in our house.

Review from a newbie milker!
We are first time milkers, and this was easy to use...dummy proof, and love the battery option (less cords to protect from goat teeth!). We dropped the lid on the first one and the plastic pulsating part broke, so we were going to return it (or purchase a replacement part), but after one of our goats chewed the cord for the machine we decided to keep it. We could always purchase the replacement part and charge both batteries with one cord for now. We just have to learn to keep those tubes and cords away from our chewers!!! One of our goats chewed a tiny break in one of the tubes and we'll see if moisture proof tape works, if not then we have back up tubes now.Another review noted the intensity of the suction, and we too high once, but quickly figured out the perfect suction needed to encourage let down, productive milking, and to not break vessels/hurt the poor goat. No worries, as soon as we saw a little red in the milk we stopped. No goat abuse here! lolIn all, we love this product and will merely purchase replacement parts if something breaks due to user error, goat destruction (lol), or malfunction. Though it is made in China (would prefer local products for a variety of reasons) it is worth it!
