Simple, Stylish, and Does Exactly What It Should
I’m very happy with this PIFCO 2-slice toaster. It has a clean, modern design that looks great on the kitchen counter, and the black finish gives it a neat, classic look. It doesn’t take up much space, which is ideal if you have a smaller kitchen. The toaster heats up quickly and toasts evenly on both sides. The 6 browning settings make it easy to get toast exactly how you like it, whether you prefer it lightly warmed or nicely golden and crisp. I’ve used it for different types of bread, and the results have been consistent every time. At 700W, it’s energy-efficient but still powerful enough to get the job done without long waiting times. The controls are straightforward and easy to use, and the lever feels sturdy. The crumb tray is removable, which makes cleaning quick and hassle-free. Overall, this is a reliable, no-frills toaster that does exactly what it promises. Great value for the price and perfect for everyday use. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a simple, dependable toaster.

A very basic toaster
Not great in terms of size for bread other than square pre-sliced “plastic” bread (I buy uncut or bake my own) but I can work with that. The real issue for me was how you cancel the toasting. I’ve never had a toaster where you need to turn the dial round to zero to cancel, I’m used to a button to press. This isn’t a deal breaker but it does mean you have to reset it every time you use the cancel function, which is quite a bit when dealing with cheaper toaster as I have never found one good enough to be consistent. One good thing is that the pre burn didn’t produce the level of smell I’ve experienced with other toasters. Burning chemical smells are rarely, if ever, pleasant! All in all, it toasts bread, so it does its job, these are just irritating issues. It will do.

This is a quality item with a very cheap price tag.
Item is well made by a known quality manufacturer, the price point made it very attractive. The delivery was excellent, and the courier was very amiable and professional.

Too small
Bread slices are too large for this. Two inches of bread poke out the top. I will be returning this. Works fine but too small.

Do not buy
Inadequate toaster, doesn't even fit a slice of bread. Bread got stuck, it's like a child's play toaster. Very light weight and plastic and definitely not for full slices of bread, more like crumpets and even they get stuck. Got a refund straight away, this toaster is really that bad.

Eat toast together
Great toaster bought for my granddaughter she loves it easy to use and clean looks good in her kitchen. Now she and great granddaughter can eat toast together in morning with it's 4 slice. Would buy again thanks.

the smallest, cheap? nasty? unimpressive toaster i have ever used
this is the closest impersonation of a toaster that i have ever seen its the size of a child's toy i didnt think anything would fit into it and i wasnt far wrong. i generally use cheap supermarket bagged bread for toasting which barely fits into this toaster. in fact i'd say that the bread needs to be trimmed down to fit properly. i tried crumpets in it thinking they are small but the width of the toaster openings are narrow enough that crumpets have to be pushed into the slots - that's a first for any toaster i have ever used before. what i suspected would happen did happen, the cycle ended, the crumpets were stuck inside the toaster, so i had to lever them out by pushing the cooking actuator upwards until i could get a hold of them and pull them out by hand. that's not an impressive design pifco, not impressive at all. the 700watt elements worked fine and my impression is that it cooked evenly enough but took just a little longer than toasters i have used before - but because of my overall bad impression i may just have been looking for things to find wrong about it...? i dont have a (decent) toaster to compare it with, which is of course why i purchased a toaster :) so my impression is: very very UNimpressed at the design and the size. how on earth could pifco mess up such an easy design ? oh i know, its called materials saving. they use less metal and plastic, so over the many units made the cost to the manufacturer per unit is lower. and bingo !!! that's why i bought it. its a cheaper unit to buy and wont get anything like the use a family would give it, and that's why i MAY end up keeping it. its easier to store under the cupboard being smaller so i may be able to store another bag of flour in the same space as a decent toaster would take up ! caravanners and campers note it may be ok for you? also i did wonder why the box was taped up so much with "extra" tape. was what i had delivered to me was an open-box unit that had been returned? will i keep it or return it is the question i have to ponder that question today. my final thoughts are if you want a decent sized toaster then dont buy this one, but for occasional use such as the use i will give it, it may be "good enough" if you dont mind trimming down the size of your bread BUT if you are a bread purchaser from bakers, or perhaps even the larger "pudding bread" purchased cheaply from supermarkets (which toasts up very well) it just wont fit well in this toaster and certainly not for crumpets which EVERY other toaster i have used bar this one managed to cope with well my final conclusion: buy this toaster only after reading the proviso's above. you may end up regretting it

This is a perfect toaster. An absolute bargain for a four slice. Its fast and its cool to the touch so I can put it away immediately. Its also wide enough so you don't have to squish bagels to get them in. There's no extra buttons for defrost but I can live without that.
