Near perfect screen protector for 1+5
Having used glass screen protectors on other phones and finding them far superior in terms of clarity and feel to other screen protectors I decided to get one for the 1+5. Making good glass screen protectors for 2.5D phones screens is a hit or miss and after reading that 1+ official screen protector has a lot of flaws I decided to give this one a try. On terms of installation it couldn't be easier, make sure your screen is clean, remove the plastic protector on the screen protector, align the screen protector to the phone's screen, press down on the edges and you're done.I've heard some people have issues with this product in terms of seeing a rainbow effect on the screen and general unresponsiveness on the screen. So far I haven't had any problems with either of them although I may have a theory on why this happens. This screen, just like most other glass screen protectors for this device only have adhesive on the black parts of the product, and I have found out that while applying the product, if you press on the non adhesive parts of the screen, like you would when applying similar other products, it causes or exacerbates the rainbow effect. If you buy this product, a word of advice, when applying the screen protector, only press down on the black parts of the screen, never touch the center of the screen, that way you prevent the so called rainbow effect.Pros:-- Protects the entire screen, including the sides.-- Has perfectly aligned cutouts.-- Very easy to install.-- Package includes two screen protectors.-- Compatible with many phone cases.-- Doesn't block a single pixel at either side of the screen if applied properly.Cons:-- You may get a rainbow effect and/or touch detection problems, however this issues may be prevented if taking my advice mentioned above.

The official protector sold by OnePlus is fantastic. The oleophobic coating is top notch
This screen protector is a rather mixed bag. The official protector sold by OnePlus is fantastic. The oleophobic coating is top notch, the fit and finish is perfect, and overall it's a very quality product. The issue with the official protector, however, is the thicker side bezels -- these overlap the screen 0.9mm on both the left and right sides of the display. The Orzly luckily fixes that, but there are clear disadvantages over the OEM.Good :-Thinner side bezels, which results in a great fit and doesn't overlap the screen.-Price is far better than the OEM protector.-Camera and light/prox sensor cutouts are a welcome improvement.-Installation was nice and simple.Sad :-As noted in the description, this protector is flat. Do note that this will leave you with a 0.2mm edge. While not sharp, it's noticeable and not smooth like the OEM.-Because the edge is flat and not 2.5/3D, within hours of install I've started to build up hair and debris between the curved screen and protector which are stuck to the adhesive of the protector.-Oleophobic coating is just okay. The OEM is virtually fingerprint-less.-No glue over the display. This results in an air pocket that pops from time to time when pushing down on the center of the screen-"Oily" spot in the center of the display comes and goes.-"Dot matrix" is visible in the correct lighting.Overall, at effectively a quarter of the price per protector, you could do far, far worse. To my knowledge, this is the best aftermarket protector currently on the market. I look forward to receiving my Orzly case as well, to see how the case and protector work in tandem.

Cannot recommend
EDIT: I've received a new package of 2 screen protectors courtesy of Orzly. I asked for specific instructions on applying this new type of TGSP that only has adhesive around the edges and followed them to the T. Will update review in a few weeks with new impressions.EDIT 2, roughly one month after receiving courtesy replacement pack: Even adhering to every minutiae the installation instructions, the edges of the TGSP do not contain a strong enough adhesive to maintain a solid seal to the glass of the phone screen. There is a significant amount of dust between the TGSP and the phone screen solely on the left and right sides where the TGSP has pulled away from the phone. The first of the replacement screens broke today, and I can't say for sure, but I assume that the lack of rigidity due to not being properly attached to the phone caused the TGSP to flex and break prematurely. I'm going to apply the second TGSP from the replacement pack and place a heavy book atop my phone for a period of time to try to encourage the TGSP to adhere more permanently. Will update with results.I've solely stuck with Orzly screen protectors for years now. They've always been a fantastic and fantastically priced product. I'm shocked and confused about how terrible this screen protector is. The adhesive is ridiculously weak, and is constantly peeling away from the phone, making clicking noises while typing as the glass repeatedly adheres and pulls away from the screen. Because the tempered glass is always lifted away from the glass of the screen, it even conveys touches on the phone in places other than where I'm pressing. Also, I could be wrong, but I'm 99% sure the product did not have a black frame around it in the photos depicting the item on Amazon at the time of purchase. In fact, I bought Orzly rather than the OnePlus screen protector specifically because I thought the black frame was stupid and wanted to avoid it.

Very good, but could be improved
Having tried another similar product from another seller but was extremely disappointed with the fit. The Orzly one fits very well in comparison, the size and cutouts are perfect and it doesn't chop off the edges of the screen. There is a slight rainbow effect in the centre of the screen which is probably due to the lack of adhesive which seems to be the only fitment issue.I would have liked two alcohol wipes in the pack for when I fit the next protector but I will use a lense wipe. The first protector has a small crack in already despite fairly careful treatment so hoping the second one lasts a bit longer. In short, it's not perfect but it fits well and will do a job at a reasonable price. Given the official tempered glass protector is far more expensive and has issues, then the Orzly one is probably a step up. It's also far better than the poorly fitting one I tried from another 3rd party.**Update: now using the second protector which was easier to fit (possibly due to practice) and a smaller but still noticeable rainbow effect**

Nice product with few limitations
The tempered glass is properly packed with all essential accessories needed to apply the tempered glass.I found the tempered glass to be good. I applied it today only. It has following pros and cons.Pros1) Great fit. Covers the whole screen unlike official OnePlus tempered glass. It has perfect cut outs.2) Very easy to apply. I am no expert in applying screen guard but was able to apply very easily without any bubbles. This is a screen guard which you can apply yourself.3) Cheaper than OnePlus 5 official screen guard4) Good protection. As per the videos available on internet, protection should be very good.5 ) you get 2 tempered glass so one can be used laterCons1) Rainbow effect - there is a rainbow effect in the middle of the screen. Even though it is not making much of a difference to me as it can be seen from some angles only and it cannot be seen while the screen is on. I read in forums and almost everyone has it. If it concerns you, go for another screen guard.2) There is a slight decrease in touch sensitivity. It can be felt that the touch sensitivity is not that smooth as it was before. But I think this would be a case with every tempered glass.3) Finger print magnet - A lot of finger prints come on screen easily which can be cleaned using the micro fibre cloth.I have read on portals that there maybe issues under direct sunlight, I will update this later once I test it under direct sunlight. Also, I will be updating my review after using the product for little longerEdit 1Now I have used the tempered glass for 3 days. The rating remains 4. The new things and which I missed previously are as follows :1) Ease of application - I would like to let u know that when I applied for 1st time, the assignment was not correct, so I just pulled it out without pressing the edges and applied again. In the 3rd time, I got the alignment correct without any decline in quality of glass.2) The rainbow effect is a bit more concerning than I initially thought. It is visible in yellow lights in Delhi metro, it is sometimes a problem. Some reviews say it will go with time, but it doesn't look to me that it will go. Still I would say much better than screen getting cut in edges as in official tempered glass3) Sunlight visibility - At the angle you normally hold your phone in, there is no problem in screen visibility in direct sunlight. Ofcourse if u keep your phone at random angles to reflect light, it surely will. One thing I noticed was that the glass's dot matrix pattern is clearly visible under direct sunlight.4) I discovered one more con, at the edges of the screen, dust particles are being attracted. This must be due to adhesive in tempered glass. Small dust particles keep sticking at edges of the screen.5) Screen responsiveness - Now the screen responsiveness seems to be fine. This maybe bcoz I got used to the screen nowOverall I found the product to be nice and I would recommend it you are ok with rainbow effect

Good looking good at first...
Kept original look of the phone as expected. Easy application, looks like it can fit with any case as the fit is perfect and I have fitted one case myself.Reasons for 4 stars and not 5 are, I feel there should be 2 alcohol wipes provided as the package comes with 2 screen protectors, also there are no stickers for dust removal.*Edit*With just one week of purchasing this product, the pjoen has gathered dust between he screen protector and the actual screen. I think this is because the screen is only partly adhesive on the outer edges. 2 Star rating as I cannot live this permenant dust on my screen and will have to purchase a new screen protector.

Ok for the price
Great fit. I got this screen protector after initially considering the OnePlus screen protectors.I reconsidered after reading on many online forums that the OnePlus screen protectors cut off about 2mm of screen from the sides, obscuring text and other display elements, while Orzly did not. Application was fairly easy, with a wet wipe and a microfiber cloth being included in the packaging. There's only one wet wipe though, so you'll need to find another one when you have to install the second screen protector. Guide stickers are not provided so I used Scotch tape to guide the installation. The screen protector fits well, and didn't get lifted off by my Nillkin TPU case. There's adhesive at the edges of the screen protector as well to ensure that it doesn't happen. The only problem is that they adhesive on the sides prevents trapped air bubbles from being pushed out after installation. There appears to be a spot in the centre of the screen protector which creates a rainbow effect under florescent light (CFLs and tube lights) but this is not visible under sunlight and under incandescent bulbs. The screen protector also makes the screen very reflective so it's easier to get distracted by your own reflection on the screen while typing. I guess it's a small price to pay for the protection. So far the oleophobic coating seems to be holding up and keeps the screen free of smudges and fingerprints. I haven't tested for drops yet (and don't intend to). There is an evident dot matrix pattern under bright light. After a few weeks of use, adhesive at the sides starts wearing off, either by itself or due to dust accumulation (between the screen and the screen protector) and dust starts getting in.

Very Poor Quality
The quality of this product is very poor.Admittedly, when fitting the protector, there is no bubbling but instead there seems to be a refractive rainbow blob in the middle of the screen. I removed the first protector and tried again with the second but both protectors produced the same large rainbow blob. The protector also does not sit flush against the glass of the screen, leaving a small gap which quickly fills with dirt and dust. The gap also means that the edges chip and crack very easily, actually making it more likely that your protector will break. Although dissatisfied with my purchase I decided to keep the protector on my phone until I could get a replacement and the screen protector chipped and cracked within days. The protector claims to be "clean" but is definitely not so! It picks up smudges and fingerprints very easily. It is also very shiny which means that using the phone in the sun can become difficult. Honestly, this has to be the worst screen protector I have ever bought. You're better off spending the money and getting an official One Plus brand screen protector.
