The kids loved it! The puzzles are fun for them to figure out - could keep them occupied for hours. Probably 10 years old to be interested. 8 years old may be too challenging for the puzzle aspect of it — probably better as just a free play. Would definitely gift again.

This has been a great activity/game for a wide range of ages (definitely elementary age and up). It really encourages critical thinking, problem solving, patience, and frustration tolerance in a fun hands-on way instead of feeling like “school work.” Some of the challenges are surprisingly difficult — it even stumped a few grown adults in our house, so I’m glad the answers are included on the back of the cards! There are so many different challenge combinations that it doesn’t get old quickly. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys puzzles, building activities, or hands-on brain challenges. Worth every penny!

Was a good game to play but once we beat it in a week or so we moved on to another but time to time we go back and still play overall good game

Bought it for my 6-year old nephew, and he loved it! The game is set up so that my nephew could figure it out intuitively with minimal guidance. The game introduces children to fundamental concepts of physics and problem-solving mechanics in a very natural way. A ball rolling down the hill won't suddenly drop down in a straight line or turn on its own, no matter how much you want it to. The game rules are simple. There is a starting point and an end goal that are placed in a fixed orientation on the grid and a list of which pieces can be used freely to reach that end point. There may be additional fixed pieces on the grid at start, depending on the level. I pointed out the dots that help indicate orientation of fixed starting pieces, which one was start piece, and which one was the end piece, and my nephew was off on his own in minutes. His experience with Lego model sets made the importance of orienting the starting pieces correctly easy to pick up. The game gradually introduces levels of complexity: longer paths, double-stacked pieces, free pieces that need to be laid horizontally, solutions requiring the ball to cross back through the same piece multiple times, etc., allowing the learning process to progress intuitively. My nephew needed some encouragement and guidance at some of these progression points, but again, the uptake once he figured it out was both natural and rewarding for him (and me). Conceptually the game is a blast, even for adults. Like others, I find it extremely regrettable that a game with such well thought out mechanics, has some pretty obvious build quality and design issues. The pieces just don't snap satisfyingly into position, and an excited 6-year old might find himself getting a little frustrated when pieces fall out of place as he frantically rushes towards a solution. Additionally, the dots assisting with orientation are functionally sufficient, but could be more visible, and a side panel on the ramped cells labeled with an arrow indicating direction of the cell's inner path might also decrease the frustration of setting up the board of glaringly bright fluorescent clear plastic pieces, freeing up more time to be spent on the satisfying effort of solving the puzzle. I wouldn't mind paying another 5 to 7 dollars for a set with a more solid and polished feel. Still, the build is serviceable, and in the end, only a minor nuisance compared to the enjoyability of the puzzles themselves.

I bought this for my 10-year-old, thinking it would be a nice "educational break." Little did I know I was actually purchasing a gravity-powered addiction. ### The "Gravity" of the Situation I’ll be honest: I initially stepped in to "help" with a Beginner level challenge. Fast forward two hours, and I’m hunched over the kitchen table like a mad scientist, muttering about "spatial pathways" and "optimal marble trajectories," while my kids are in the background asking if we’re ever going to eat dinner. Why your brain (and your sanity) will love it: The "Clink" of Victory: There is no sound more satisfying than that little silver marble successfully hitting the red target tower. It’s like a tiny, metallic high-five for your IQ. Humbling Experience: There are 60 challenges. I breezed through the Beginner ones feeling like Einstein. By the time I hit "Expert," I realized I might actually have the spatial reasoning of a sourdough starter. Screen-Free Sorcery: It’s a miracle! My kids actually forgot they owned tablets. For a solid hour, the only "scrolling" happening was the marble rolling down a translucent green tower. Durability: The towers are sturdy enough to survive being knocked over in a fit of "I-almost-had-it" frustration. Bottom Line: If you want to feel incredibly smart for five minutes and then profoundly confused for the next forty, this is the game for you. It’s the perfect gift for any kid who likes to build things, or any adult who wants to prove they’ve still "got it" (even if the "Expert" cards prove otherwise). Warning: May cause "One More Level" syndrome. Do not start a challenge if you have a flight to catch or a cake in the oven.

This Gravity Maze is one of the best single-player games for kids. It was one of the best Christmas gifts we’ve given. My 9-year-old absolutely loved it and stays occupied for a long time. The variety of challenge cards and different skill levels really help keep it engaging. He flew through the beginner levels and gets excited every time he sets up the maze and the marble runs through correctly. Even when a setup doesn’t work, he laughs and enjoys figuring out what went wrong. It’s truly a fun, challenging, and excellent mind-building game.

Tho it looks durable and fun, my 7 yrs old grandson did not like it. It was difficult and confusing for him to play alone.

Purchased for our 11yr old. Absolutely loves it. Continues play and really makes them think logically, as well as trial and error. Recommend for sure, especially in the classroom. Our child can't wait to take this to school to show their teacher and class mate on the first rainy day! They play alone or work through the challenges with a friend. We would say individual or two children. This allows for communication without too many opinions.

My son ( 12+) loves the puzzle and even I enjoyed doing it. It engages him nicely and he said itschallenging aswell with the higher levels. Good recommendation for middle school kids
