When I first put these disc's in my dvd player they tried to format and told me they had a error. None of them would work. I have lots of dvd-rw's that work fine, so I knew it wasn't my machine.I was going to return them but then I saw a review for a dvd of another brand that had the same problem. She solved the problem by putting the disc in her computer and formatting it as a usb. Then you put it into the dvd player and format it. I tried it and it worked every time.I gave this four stars for the roundabout way I had to go to make these work. Now that they are formatted they work just fine.

The best there is! Had a bunch of DVD-R’s but moving VHS to DVD needed the RW feature. High quality images and easy to work with. Ready to buy another bunch!

These discs are great for backing up large files, and downloading large files for transport to multiple devices for use. Erase and rewrite many, many times. I don't trust the cloud for storing data so I back it all up and these discs do a fantastic job.

The quality of this is almost flawless; I have purchased many of these. I've only had one or two bad discs and they were the kind of defect you want if you have to have one in that it wouldn't format from the get go (thus saving one from from having an important recording that won't finalize). The price is great as well, you get 30 in a spindle as opposed to 25 or less.I have tried several brands, including Memorex, Maxell, and others. The Maxell comes in second for quality, and the yellow color is good for color coding, however the price is very high, especially considering you only get 15 in a spindle of those. The Memorex version is OK but there are too many defective discs.To sum things up, I strongly recommend the Verbatim pictured above.

Been buying Verbatim dvd -rw for a long time. Made maybe 100 dvds over that time. This lot is defective. Tried on 3 different computers and on 9 different OS. If you format DVD it is ruined. If you add additional files after the first coping to DVD it is ruined. If you blank DVD it is ruined. The only way to use these dvds is to copy ONLY ONCE WITHOUT FORMATTING otherwise it is ruined beyond use and repair. Wasted 12 dvds before figuring this out. Will not buy this brand again.
