My remote stopped working and a replacement was so expensive. This one is a great price and was easy to pair to my fireplace after watching the YouTube video.

Needed to replace our fireplace remote after 10 years. Ordered this one, arrived quickly, took out of box, added 3 AAA batteries, took 2 minute to sync with base station, hit the “on” button and we were in business. Thanks C

Remote was great, easy to pair following you tube instructions. Today it quit working, just like the last remote did, and the remote would no longer turn off the fireplace. It will adjust the flame size, fan speed, thermo temp, but won't effing turn off the fireplace. I am so sick of buying replacement remotes that are overpriced pieces of crap.

My previous remote was damaged due to battery corrison (fireplace repair tech said I should take the batteries out at the end of the season to prevent that from happening again). I was a little worried when I noticed this remote did not have the "heat &glo" label as indicated in the photo, however, it works great. I was able to get it "new" for $99 including the white wall case. I don't know about the ease of set up since I had the company that installed my gas fireplace get it set up. My Heat&Glow fireplace unit requires the tech to practically take it apart to service the unit. I'm sure I would've probably paid over $200 for the remote if I ordered it though the fireplace company. I'm very happy with my purchase.
